Frankly though we would like to help the democratic Afghan government against the medieval Taliban, even the Americans needed logistical support through Pakistan.Look dude you are missing the bigger picture here. Pakistani military leadership is not stupid to go on an occupation mission anywhere, nor do we have the funds to do such adventures.
Just think about the logistics involved for such an adventure.
The Indian involvement IF it ever happens (and that is a very big if) will involve only be an air component based most probably in Bagram.
Now to neutralise this threat all Pakistan needs to do is give manpads to the local resistance and rockets to hit the base on a regular interval. You will see the Indians will be running back in no time, probably losing both their honour and much more along the way.
But the Indians although very repulsive aren't stupid either. So I can bet all my savings with you that it's never gonna happen.

It is child like to think that perceived lack of morals will affect foreign policy decisions.
only mutual interests and risk/reward based decisions
why not use the same tactic to hit them back ?
I have to disagree. I feel India and Afghanistan do have good regards for each other beyond international relations. But i can't see a practical solution to how to keep the supply line open to the government. What ally? There are no friends, only mutual interests and risk/reward based decisions. I am willing to bet.dont bet on that... as we have seen when it comes to Pakistan they can become incredibily stupid
