Very interesting -- article here, excerpts below:

Afghan ambassador in Islamabad on Thursday suggested he could resign position in protest against Pakistan’s resumption of construction near the border.

Omar Zakhilwal said Wednesday’s agreement was on ceasefire and high-level talks to resolve the issue.

“There was no agreement on resumption of construction by Pakistan,” he said on Facebook.

The envoy said he told Pakistan’s army that if the construction didn’t stop to facilitate talks, then “there will be no reason why I should stay in my post.”

He further warned that he will release details to public over Torkham and the dispute there.

Pakistan has double Pushtun population than Afghanistan, and still Afghanistanis claim Pakistani land up to Attock. It should be otherwise.
They should not allow any Pakistani govt installation in that whole area which they claim: i.e. from Afghan border to Attock, else why to cry about gate near border ?

Have you found the original post on his facebook account ? I highly doubt the sources of this news. Afghanistani media is not credible at all.
Pakistan Army is in full mood to control the borders. They will not agree on halting this construction, instead they are planning more, and I don't think they have given any word about halting.

There is no shortage of morons in Afghan government, they beg us to let their 3.5 million citizens live in Pakistan and their ambassador threatens to leave, they attack our border posts and then beg us to treat their injured soldiers who attacked us in our military hospitals.

This Afghan ambassador is an intellectual and not your average ambassador, and as you pointed out in the video one his to watch it to understand where he is coming from and as you can see from the video he is been very objective and clear in his views vis-a-vis Pakistan.

PS : Some of the guys in the thread need to a drink cold pepsi cola, to let off steam :)

This ambassador is speaking the tongue of others. He is on the payroll of others and not Afghanistan or the Afghan people.

Pakistan is tired of inaction and complaints from across the border. Pakistan has lost tens of thousands of innocent lives. Pakistan cannot afford to lose anymore innocent lives. Afghanistan blames that Taliban leadership has sanctuary inside Pakistan. Yet, the likes of Mullah Fazlullah and other anti-Pakistan elements are residing in Afghanistan, plotting terror attacks against Pakistan and killing many innocent Pakistanis. Worse, India has gained foothold in Afghanistan and is also actively destabilizing Pakistan from across the border. These aren't misconceptions, but established facts that cannot be ignored.

If Afghanistan seeks genuine peace it needs to take care of these issues. Otherwise, resorting to blame games won't lead to anything.

before questioning some one please refrain from using words like he is intellectually ,do you know the meaning of this ,I said it he is a smart dude but intellectual no way ,He has dodged every question related to TTP leadership in Pak ,where as Pak has even photos of them in Afg Capital with officials ,Thing which is even more curious why a so called intellectual is send to Pakistan than an average ambassador
Hate using wiki leaks but this sums it up for all of us .So this intellectual survived bcas of Pak then Canada

Zakhilwal was born in 1968 in the Nangarhar or Jalalabad of Afghanistan.[3] He is believed to be an ethnic Pashtun.[4]In 1984, at the age of 17, Zakhilwal along with his family fled his country among the Afghan refugees and settled inPeshawar, Pakistan. In 1991, he along with the family immigrated to Canada.
