About SSG's Weapons

Guys,

How are any of the above posts related to SSG's weapons? SCAR, Mehmetcik are not in use by the SSG. There are other general threads for discussions about weapons.
Thanks

The SSG could be equipped with an array of modern weaponry which includes, Steyr AUG, HK G3,AK-101 AK-107 and Chinese Type-81/56 rifles, Colt M4 Carbines, and FN P90 and HK-MP5 (many diff. variants) Submachine guns. Light machine gun in use is Rheinmetall MG3 (locally produced along with HK G3s and MP5s). In sniper or Marksman role, the SSG CT (Counter-Terrorism) teams are equipped with Steyr MPi 69, Finnish Tikka bolt-action and HK PSG1 and Dragunov SVD Semi-automatic rifles. Side arms includes various HK models. Most of the gear in use by the SSG is (and has been) of US origi

guns wich we seen in lal masjid was ak-101 and ak107 and also m4 carbine

why so many different weapons? it'll just create more logistics problems.

i think they need one type of assault rifle, one type of sub machine gun and one type of LMG.

oh yeah, one type of sniper

i think itsnot any r which waipen they need in setuation they will use but thay have all modren warraity waipens same like lal masjid i seen ony they use ak-101 and m-4 carbine but its good for commandos that there store rooms are full with whole world modren and good waipens

Loggy problems are not really a issue for specialist units.

maybe not. but still, there is no need for so many different type of weapons. wont the soldiers have to be trained on all these different weapons, which will cause unnecessary wastage of time and money?

store rooms should be full of the same type of weapon, not different types.

Having the choice of choosing a weapon for each assignment is critical in hostile territory where SSG operate. They need the ability to blend in with surrounding forces and stay unnoticed as well as carrying weapons more accurate and silenced.
