About $89 million USD project to strength RAB and Coast Guard

1) When Peelkhana massacre was taking place RAB was prevented by Awami League regime from preventing slaughter of 53 army officers.

2) When Awami League thugs openly terrorized students, teachers in educational institutions, RAB was kept in lock.

3) When Awami League terrorist openly brandishing gun and shooting people, RAB was kept on lock.

4) Awami League terrorist was even operated in RAB uniform.

5) Awami League even used RAB to kill garments workers leader like Aminul Islam.

BUT Awami and secular type did no mention of “fundamentalism” “extremism” for Awami League acts of terror and genocide.

Clear fact is – it is Awami League terrorizing Bangladesh with open and broad daylight killing, massacre of army officers, forcing workers into death traps, force disappearance and genocide at dark of night. All the while “fundamentalism” to label majority Muslim population remains phobia and propaganda tool for Awami League and their secular media. These phobia based propaganda started with outside instigation, spread by people like Sajeeb Wajed Joy and still attracts people like eastwatch and secular fundamentalist into it.

The game of these secular extremists and Indian cheer leaders was quite clear to some of us for quite some time. Hopefully, our clueless countrymen will finally believe people like us. The problem we have now is to keep extremism, Salafi and Al Qaeda out of this equation. Our struggle must not go towards religious extremism and we should not get help from Gulf Arabs under any circumstances.

Instead Bangladesh a moderate Muslim nation, must remain moderate at all costs, even if there is presence of moderate Islamists among us, such as Jamaat. Note that in Syria, the US has finally decided to arm the moderate wings of the Syrian opposition. For our own future we should strenuously work to keep extremism out and it will also help us get support from the West, when they finally realize that 90% moderate Muslims of Bangladesh will eventually win against a few extreme secularists, Indian agents and Hindu's who are now perpetrating massacre on our innocent unarmed Muslim population.

Great news. More power to RAB to take down islamist hardliners.

Do not talk like an Awami Leaguer and criticize RAB. A RAB or a triple RAB could have done nothing in Pilkhan without even the AL conspiracy behind that event, because time was too short. How do you expect RAB to do anything when a party in power conspires to kill its own military officers and destroy the bond between military and BDR?

Whatever RAB does is not its own fault. RAB moves as ordered by the govt. RAB was established during BNP time, but AL is using it as if it is another Rakkhi Bahini. RAB will take a better role when power changes hands. I hope so, but I also do not believe this.

Ok not RAB, But why they did not let SWAT to take action? Given that SWAT was created for this kind of situations only.

Agreed with bold part.

Can you let me know which part of my post you do not agree to. RAB or SWAT all act as the govt wants it to do. It is obvious that the AL govt did not want any law enforcing agency to move in Pilkhan. Moreover, what RAB or SWAT could do there? Did you already forget that army battalions were in nearby Dhanmondi waiting for order to act, although I believe there was no scope of saving lives because all were already killed. Why someone should come out with RAB/SWAT crap after 4 years? Please try to think straight instead of politicizing everything.

Man, the decision of not letting the army aka commando and swat teams to take action was political. I'm trying to think straight but the incident is politicized from the beginning. Anyway the point is that single incident destroyed two most important and reliable forces of our country just in a single night and BAL has the full responsibility.

Any funding to RAB with current regime will go to raise more Awami League terror brigade like following:

See, these kind of things only decrease RAB's credibility.

RAB's task is to act as a rapid response team. There are one of those situations which require more of a tactical response. These situations include hostage rescues, rooting out dangerous criminals and terrorists on home soil, etc.

It is a specialized force with specific tasks. It's just like the SWAT teams we see in the US. But perhaps, a bit broader in scope.

Now the question is: What is RAB's job? Oder kage kee?

Remember Liton? The boy who lost his leg and crippled for life? Wonder what happened to the officer who shot him. It is these kind of things that I am very critical about. And in case some fool here thinks that he is some 'Jamaati', well he isn't  And neither was he armed.
