Jamahir bhai, Tatars are doing great these days, from the codeforces.com (world's largest platform of coding competitions) founder Mike Mirzayanov to the escaped chemist Vil Mirzayanov and many others and they were brutally suppressed in communist regime for being Muslims, now they're trying to found some of their lost heritage.How times change. But the they're doing more than necessary, Turkmenistan has even declared their own Quran and a new holy book called Ruhnama. Kemalist Turkey was a good example for a Muslim secular state.Controlled yes. And they were wise to do that ever since their breakaway from the USSR. Look at the fate of Syria. Look at the temerity of Lal Masjid in Pakistan. Or the presence of Taliban in Afghanistan.
