You are right but Pakistan is supposed to vacate Azad Kashmir before the plebiscite takes place.Now GB has been absorbed by Pakistan and Pakistan has unilaterally given away kashmiri land to china, so its also messy now.
Also Pakistan didn't stand still and sent in armed raiders into kashmir, so the agreement was voided.

If my memory serves me right then Pakistan has to move out its army from there end followed by plebiscite. Also India not being a direct democracy isn't obliged to do it . UN and league of Nations are just waste of time and money. Only the top players have their say.

I would recommend a proper encyclopedia like Britannica or scholarly books on the Kashmir dispute before commenting on the matter.

I came with this thought which is kinda funny, so listen and read it carefully.

Abolish Art 370
Division of state into Jammu-Ladakh and Special territory of Kashmir.
Jammu-Ladakh as full fledged state of India.
Kashmir as autonomous territory within indian union.

Constituent assembly formed by kashmiri representative through elections. Draft new constitution as per the liking of kashmiri masses.

What I would like to see.

Constitutional monarchy.
Party with maximum seats to form government for 7 years.
Party with maximum votes to have elected monarch for 10 years.

Remove beuracracy and leave posts of administration to either election or someother stuff which I forgot.

Like Finance minister to be elected and must possess a know how about commerce and economics.

So either use the way China use to control anti national element of Kashmir valley...Give a s***t to human rights for 25 year....Stop any kind of farce election to elect corrupt Kashmir valley politician

Option 2 : i find it easier to get a connect with some on from Lahore and Karachi than stupid people from Kashmir valley...So just hand over Kashmir valley to Pakistan..and merge rest of territory with India without any special privilege...

Option 3 : - Maintain status quo...We really do not need any solution....we can be bad boyz in front of the world and no one give damn about Kashmir issue till we are top 5 economy in this world..

You can't start a plebiscite without a mutual agreement. India has always backed away and rejected a plebiscite.

The only peaceful solution is that GTRA (Gangadeshi Terrorist and Rapist Army) leaves Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and people of Kashmir just join Pakistan. Yes we do have boundry disputes with China but they are not the ones pushing jihadis into India. And when was the last time you heard about firing along the Indo China border.

Even Dokhlam was between Bhutan China border and India intervened because Bhutan is a protectorate of India. Even there it was eyeball to eyeball confrontation for a few weeks but no shots were fired
