I have a better proposal.

Countries of South Asia should join Union of India as autonomous Federal units. It will be like UK 1 country but separate teams for Olympics and world tournament. This way Kashmir issue will be solved and people will get a chance to remove their misguided hate that is an outcome of the 20th century politics of divide and rule , stick and carrot etc.

The proposal will lead to civil war. Abrahamic faiths do not Co exist with non Abrahamic ones.

I was wondering how will Indians react to collectivization of agriculture which Stalin brought.

Who said there will be an election.. He will be appointed the king of federation as Mughal were... did they disgrace themselves in front of the public by contesting elections and asking for votes? There is no solution for Kashmir, it will remain poor and undeveloped for a very long time. While other regions develop it'll remain as our Xinjiang.

Remove beuracracy and leave posts of administration to either election or someother stuff which I forgot.

Like Finance minister to be elected and must possess a know how about commerce and economics.

We can't elect someone to top post because he's popular. Imagine, electing someone who have some Economics graduate just because he is popular to be the bureaucracy. It's best to go the classic way, exams and the winner rules the roost.

- Kashmir is allowed its own Government Militia force for its own self defense
- Its own currency
- A ban on the entry of Indian soldiers into the state
- and visa Requierments for all the Indian Hindus that enter Kashmir.

In this state their will be no police.
Army would protect the frontier. And aid king of Kashmir only when he asks for it.

I have a proposal too.. This might work..

1 - India let go of Kashmir, but keep Laddakh
2 - Pakistan let go of Azad Kashmir, but keep GB
3 - Make Kashmir an autonomous region, and request Kashmiris to give visa free entry to Indians and Pakistanis for tourism.. the rest to be decided by Kashmiris..

Off course there were inter and intra rivalries in past but see how well it was managed by some emperor's. On ground conditions of masses weren't different in most cases. British from Plassey to Independence played not just with economy but also with the conscience of people and our ancestors both Muslims and Hindus are to be blamed for it.

Let me tell you one thing. No army person likes to be in conflict in a civilian zone. If there is no violence, no stone pelting, no bomb blasts, no AK 47 bearing militants then the Indian Army will not be there. It is that simple. just 3-4 years without any violence and the army will withdraw and the region will be peaceful.
