Yes, what were the reasons for invading? What was the circumstances before the war? I have read that Chinese leaders in the past killed lots of Chinese people (I am not trying to excuse Japanese war crimes but trying to get a balanced picture). If a Japanese person wants to honor his war dead and he is not doing it in China or on a Chinese platform then you should state your disapproval and then leave him to it. Chinese honor their war dead don't they? I am sure Chinese military is not without its crimes in the past.
What is the reason for invading? They want to colonize China, and this is China's fault? There is no issue with honoring any country's war dead, but any country try to honor WAR CRIMINALS, it becomes an issue. Can German today honor Hitler and his gang?
