A political solution for Kashmir and lasting peace for India and Pakistan

Indians have the numbers advantage by a huge margin, you know? What about we all talk on the table?

Talk with whover u guys talk. As long as we kashmiriz are not allowed to vote which is blocked sikce 1947 we will keep killing.

Dark side always has bigger numbers. Truth always wins in the end. Light always deminishes the darkness.

If you guys think you are the light and we darkness come all together and end the darkness.

We shall see who is victorious. Truth always wins.

Sorry my sympathy is with Foxtrot. The Kashmiris have been suffering for 30 years since 1989, some even say 73 years since 1947. Just read some of the atrocities of the Indian army. Kashmiri women raped on their wedding nights to tame them into submission by Indian soldiers. The Uyghur issue is relatively recent.

You can keep allying with racist middle aged Islamophobes on this board to look more Indian. Just know they'll sell you out in a jiffy.
I am a powerless guy, you know, I just have opinions and in this I think every side has to compromise to reach a solution.

I don't know what colludes your rational thinking.

Yeah, as if Pakistan or Pakistanis love and care for Indian Muslims.

If you have back bone pick up a gun and come and take kashmir. I'm waitimg in the front row. We kashmiriz kill indian scum day and night. Plz do come if you think you are on the right path.

Not every person in India-administered Kashmir wants to pick up a gun. I knew a young man whose late father was Kashmiri and whose family runs a handicrafts store. There are perhaps a dozen other Kashmiri crafts shops in my city. And there is a Kashmiri traveling clothing salesman who annually comes to my house to sell clothing items to my mother.

And there are of course the prominent new Kashmiri youth leaders - Shehla Rashid and Shah Faesal. No guns with them too.

I stopped reading after the first point.
You just ripped apart the fundamental principles as to which these States were born and run on currently.
It did a 180 from probability to alternative history, if Pakistan's principle is taken away then there very well be no Kashmir problem.
If you take away India's Principle of United Super state you very well have given no purpose to the current Kashmir problem.

Firstly, thank you for turning this thread back to a discussion bigger than Kashmir. That was the thread's part intention.

But no, what I wrote is not alternate history but a possible current / future which can be realized if people sit at the table and talk of radical change. Many societies have brought revolutionary change by simply sitting, thinking and talking.

And if India and Pakistan were formed on certain principles in 1947 should those principles be continued forever with no thought of change just because they were founded on certain principles in the past ?

But I did not understand your mention of an Indian united superstate. That was not my intention for this thread.

We had a Kashmiri tenant in our house.

And in Ballimaran, a lot of them used to come in winters to sell their Pashmina Shawls though this is my Dad's narration (circa 80s).

Brother, what is your obsession with a person's skin color ? Tell me, have Nordic-White Pakistanis managed to have a space station floating 400 kms above our heads ? :)

And below is a good-looking dark-skinned person, Milind Soman, from @padamchen's state. Soman was quite a famous model in the 90s :

Some civilians like @Foxtrot Delta and former military men like G.D.Bakshi may be vociferous but the Establishments are more practical.

So what advanced sciences or technologies have 1.4 billion indians EVER invented? Did indians invent space technology or aeroplanes?

PS I was responded to an indian who claimed that dark skinned dravidian south indians who follow Zorastrianism are in fact Persians. That's like claiming Black Zulus are in fact White Aryan Germans. Funny how you indians like you never correct other indians from making retarded ludicrous claims.

@PAKISTANFOREVER has a point. Being CEO of a tech giant mean nothing. It could be due to office politics or other reasons you aren't acquainted with. You aren't aware of ways of the world especially Indian world.

He led the development of tons of products that you're currently using including Google chrome and several crucial parts of the Google search itself.

Maybe he can get into Wharton as an international student before talking back.

What has he invented? There are over 1.4 billion indians. What advanced sciences or technologies have ANY of them EVER invented 100% indigenously?
Pytorch was developed by an Indian named Soumith Chintala. Now google what it is.

Lol, He's a South Indian too.

I agree that modern India hasn't contributed any technologic thing to the world in the last seven decades of existence and this has been confirmed by N.R.Narayana Murthy, the co-founder of Infosys which is one of India's biggest IT companies.

But neither has Pakistan. So what is there to fight over ?

I actually want to see manned space missions that include a fourth set of people ( the first three being West, Russia, China ). The fourth set should include South Asia, Africa, West Asia, South America and Southeast Asia.

He invented them for Google BECAUSE of Google. NOT for a company or ANYTHING else made by indians. WITHOUT Google he would be nowhere. Google was invented and created by WHITE European people. NOT indians. Considering there are more indians than White people on this planet, that is a very meagre achievement for 1.4 billion indians......:disagree:

PS If what you say is true can you please provide a link to all these inventions by this person. Then we can analyse if these were 100% indian or whether they were made possible by the previous inventions and creations of White people.

I think you fail to see what you have proposed, for Nations to change their principal of statehood is not very easy task.
To say India and Pakistan being extremely-defensive of their state function to one day "discuss" it out is for me personally a bit farfetched.
I have seen plenty of "revolution" springing across the nation, even you might be very familiar of the Socialist movements in this region vis-à-vis The socialist movement being very close knittined in the Subcontinent and are in regular contact.
They may seem full of potential, but for me when I watch them I can only sell in essence the samw things and the religious Fundamentalists and the Liberal minority. Optimistic, fairly naive and romanticized beliefs. These people when in discussion are more intolorent then any religious fundamentalist I have ever met.
And to a fair extent such people will lead your movement in both state, and in respects to Pakistan will prove to be same in principal action as to Zia's true "Islamic Pakistan".
Then there are those who have shed their blood for the current status quo. Will Gilgit-Baltistan ever accept any thing less than to be part of Pakistan certainly no, the forefathers and the people now have lost to many for this cause and it would be a betrayal to their life.

We dont need any convoluted way of new government systems and a bit far fetched ideas.
Allow ladakh and lethals to be part India and Gilgit-Baltistan to Pakistan hold a plebiscite in Kashmir and AJ&K let Indian occupied Kashmir to either be part of india or be independent and AJ&K to either be part of Pakistan or independence.
None of the party are staking more than the other, Both can easily preach it to the mass with much ease. The people would much prefer such and agreement.
I have recommended such an agreement as India has always preferred the status quo and eventual integration into its state much like Ireland which does not suit Pakistans outlook

buffer zone placed between India and Pakistan. Strategic depth. It would be the same argument if Pakistan would claim the Indian state of Rajasthan which borders Pakistani Sindh.
Have a look at map of South Asia. Kashmir is NOT a buffer between Pakistan and India. It is right at the extreme tip of north west India.

When European countries fought amongst themselves, even using poison gas, they are now an alliance. They have put the past into the past.
Critical differances -

  • they resolved issues with one side emerging victorious, other vanquished.
  • they had no other options but to form a alliance. What was France going to do? Make a alliance with Africa? Germany with Asia? The geography, culture, religion, history, culture ethnic groups led only to one thing ~ Euro union. In our case [Pakistan] we have choice between West Asia [with whom we share ethnicity, culture, religion, languages, history], Central Asia or finally India/South Asia.
Given these choices and realities for me West Asia is the choice. Freedom from British imposed political history. We don't want to go back to this.
