A plan to destroy Pakistan, we must have a counterplan

it is their misled belief that they have to save Pakistan from everything and everyone.

the only problem with that is they have been involved in high crimes to the state of Pakistan.. be it OBL "raid" , massive smuggling over throwing civilian governments.

their intention is doubt ful.

Pakistan is in the state it is today due to foreign actors employing internal actors to blunt what should be the tip of the spear for the world of Islam.

A weak Pakistan is in the enemies of Islam's interest.

You having a laugh?

This is all cute and all, but if these types if articles like these aren’t going to be written in Urdu or local languages for the masses to read and understand, then nobody in the GHQ is going to give two f**ks. English is the language of the elityas in Pakistan.

Even us….look at us. We don’t even converse in Urdu on this forum. In essence we too are isolating ourselves from the masses. PDF likes to pretend it’s a “WORLD DEFENSE FORUM” but lets be real here.

Now look at Siasat.pk and its forum. It has such a HUGE following. Why? Precisely because they debate and argue in Urdu. And with the advent of internet and smartphones in Pakistan, now you‘re witnessing the rural class and the disadvantaged class entering the Information Age….a decade late…but better late than never.

Ever wondered why Pakistan’s TV channels are all either news or dramas. But you’ll never see educational channels like NatGeo Urdu or Discovery Urdu. This is done by design, not because they don’t want to expand.

The powers that be in this country don’t want you to learn about World War 2 or about the French revolution….or even our own history. They don’t want Pakistanis to be educated…they want obedient little foot soldiers who set fire to their cities when something happens in Denmark or Sweden.

Pakistan was created by the elites for the elites.

The system is designed not to deliver but benefit the elite and feudal class. This guy has nailed it.

That was why Raza Rumi sahib was shot at (it was a warning and not meant to kill him). The establishment was OK as long as he was conveying his message in English: but once he switched to Urdu with a potential of educating and stirring large masses, he had to be asked to back off.

He also compared the Cambridge system students in Pakistan to those of India which has a population of 1.48 billion while the Cambridge system in the neighbouring country is lower compared to its humongous population.

“46,000 student qualified under Cambridge system in Pakistan in 2023. In India the number is only 68,000,” Zaidi added.

This is Shabbar Zaidi, an economist.

Now my friend Brofessor sb will use this data to prove that Pakistan has a better education system than India!

The Elite have a plan to destroy Pakistan. They’ve had it for decades. And it’s been working. We must have a counterplan — a plan to save our homeland — for our children and our future generations.

“All hope abandon, ye who enter here,” reads an inscription on the Gate of Hell in Dante’s Divine Comedy. For us, this may be the darkest hour in our nation’s history. Many of us have abandoned hope, but… what if the appointment of Gen Asim Munir as Pakistan’s new Army Chief is the silver lining that we had been searching for? What if this is the beginning of the end of dynastic and fascist politics and hybrid governments? What if this is the time to look beyond Zardari, Sharif and Khan? But how?

A) Unmask the Elites. But who are the Elites? According to Role of Elites in Pakistan, published in International Journal of Applied Economic Studies, the Elites in Pakistan include bureaucratic elites, military elites, religious elites, landlord elites, judicial elites, industrialist elites, dynastic elites, taxing elites (non-tax paying), and media elites.

B) Eliminate Elite Capture. Pakistan Institute of Development Economics describes Elite Capture as a process by which powerful elites skim national resources intended for the larger population, and define policies in a way that protect their own interest. In 2017-18 alone, eight major groups caused a loss of Rs2.7 trillion to the nation’s economy. Among them: banks (Rs196 billion), industry (Rs528 billion), military establishment (Rs257 billion), high net worth individuals (Rs368 billion) and feudal class (Rs370 billion). Perks and privileges the Elites enjoy include preferential access to land, capital, and services, lower taxation including exemptions and evasions, and favourable prices.

C) Pass Elections Reform. Let’s have a default election date. Let’s introduce a Fixed Term Parliament Act like the UK did in 2011. General Elections on a fixed date every five years. This will prevent the manipulation of election dates for political advantage. To restore political stability, neither President nor Prime Minister should have the power to dissolve Parliament. However, Parliament may be dissolved by a two-thirds vote or if a motion of no-confidence is passed. This may be extrapolated to include provincial assemblies as well.

D) Armed Forces and the Hybrid Government. To strengthen democracy, the Armed Forces must stay out of power politics. For this commitment to have an enduring impact, there should be no extensions for the Army Chief. Military officers should be forbidden by law from assuming civilian posts in the government (Gen Kiyani 2008).

E) Reintroduce Term Limits. No more than two terms for President and Prime Minister and members of the National Assembly and the Senate. This will prevent elected representatives from amassing too much power and clout. Pakistan has a bourgeoning population of talented youth who can bring new ideas and innovative solutions to our problems.

On my last visit to Islamabad, I saw Land Cruisers and Range Rovers on the road. A house in F-6 cost 25 to 75 crore rupees. All this in a country that ranks 147th out of 170 on Human Development Index. We can see the writing on the wall, can’t we? We must extricate ourselves from the chokehold of the deep state. We must raise our voice.

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell.

My counter plan is

khata hey tu lagata be hey 😂

Everything was on track and fine untill people revolted due to 9% inflation

Every society has elites. The quality of your elites determines how great a society advances. Are Pakistani elites any more worse than typical third world elites ? I like to see evidence here before making judgement one way or the other

Imran Khan never won elections in punjab
He was forced upon the people

Nawaz sharif is coming in October
Pretty sure everyone will get behind him like they have since creation of modern Pakistan (since 1980)

Many of the English speaking journalists who were earlier doing programs/blogs in English are doing those in the local Urdu Language and they are going places, with much bigger audience.

Like WSJ, wajahat saeed Khan, a Harvard Kennedy school educated geo security analyst, now doing local level analysis, at times goes on to intl' geo politics, all in urdu.

Moeed Pirzada, doing the Vlogs by this name and the other one GVS news, again in Urdu.

Eliminate Khan?

In order to make his argument sound legit, he is also eliminating Imran Khan with Sharif and Zardari. I have never accepted these both-sided arguments. You either are with truth or against it.

D) Armed Forces and the Hybrid Government. To strengthen democracy, the Armed Forces must stay out of power politics. For this commitment to have an enduring impact, there should be no extensions for the Army Chief.

How?

The army leadership will be nice and law abiding all of a sudden. Imran's ouster has shown us that Pakistan is under occupation. Military is the biggest symptom of elite capture. With its brute power, it has spawned corruption in bureaucracy and politics destroying institutions of politics and state in the process. Military has used corruption as blackmailing tool to keep Zardari & Sharif in line. In the end, this has stalled our progress on the political front as these these thieves helped give political facade to the military occupation. According to writer, all of a sudden military will realize its absolute monopoly on power is harming the country and it will backtrack! Amazing.

My understanding is unless there is a cataclysmic event, the military will not back out. We had separation of East Pakistan to understand our mistakes. We did not learn any lesson from that tragedy. We kept loving our army believing their narrative that India along with 'traitor' Bengalis created Bangladesh. Nothing could be further from truth. Since we did not learn, we are bound to repeat that mistake. And we are repeating that mistake.

I dont want to sound negative, but military will have to be kicked out of politics. And only Imran Khan can lay the foundation of the process. With a powerful civilian govt, Imran will have the mandate to do basic reforms.

You might think how will military accede to holding elections? It will have to. There is no war planned in Afghanistan that will help military to seek rent. Saudis have given them a cold shoulder. They dont need our military after thaw in their relations with Iran. UAE will follow suit. With tanking economy due to militay's constant interference, military will be left with no option but to run away and hold election. If they again rig elections to bring back the absconding toad, no one will accept the election result and this act will be a catalyst for cataclysmic event that I m afraid of.

Are Pakistani elites any more worse than typical third world elites ?
African elites are somehow worse

Pakistani elites are either diehard nationalists, or soulless crooks.

A good way to filter em out is the ones which have a blue/red passport but still send their kids to school in Pakistan care or are indifferent about the country, and the ones who want to be third class citizens abroad along with their kids despite being elites in Pakistan are soulless inferiority complex ridden crooks.

Raza Rumi is not a 'sahib'. He does not deserve that respect.

He is affiliated with NED. NED we all know is a CIA fund which is used to create misinformation and propaganda in favor of USA.

This is his introduction on NED website.

NED was created in 80s when CIA was found to have executed several world leaders across the globe, notably in South America. So the US govt created NED to interefere in countries of interest without being too overt. Pakistan today is paralyzed and irrelevant due to overt interference by USA using Army Chief (a favored and preferred method of Americans) and covert interference through NGOs like Raza Rumi's NayaDaur.

None of this is conspiracy theory. American interference is a very well known fact and very well documented.
