hinduguy, this guys is a traitor? Traitor to whom? Most Iranian would say he is a hero and is being prosecuted for being Iranian to teach other Iranian a lesson that is not to help their home country of Iran. There are other jailed Iranian scientists in America .
That's a cultural difference I have noticed a lot with Indians in the UK. From this forum it would seem US Indians are the same. When you move to Britain you guys want to be known as British. I have read some studies that South Asians are more patriotic towards Britain then any other group, including indigenous white people.
Well that isn't the same with Iranians. The vast majority of Iranians put their Iranian identity above that of the country they live in.
Consider, if this man who he calls a Traitor, If he was an American man Living in NAZI Germany in 30's / 40's, would Americans and the rest of the World call him a Traitor or a HERO? Exactly, America itself is todays NAZI Germany, a traitor itself thats funding the same AL Nusra Al CIADA it says it wants to fight in Syria under the FSA banner. My father visited India in the 80's, (he was a government official turned business man). The british colonization that have destroyed their rich country and culture. They see our white skin, start going crazy. Its due to the Cast System that say the darker skinned indians should be servants of the aryan, thakri, bhrama etc etc races. I dont know whats wrong with them they also behave like this towards pakistanis. I spoke to many indians in the forum, they do something but dont want to be mentioned and start going on rages. Besides unlike them iranians travel and finish out study aboard (yes before many liberals who left the county with their parents they act like indians and south asians) but most of us carry our iranian dual citizenship, our persian identity comes first then some pety american, britani european.
So what if they are westernized? That has nothing at all to do with national identity.
Everything, They dont make good representatives of Iran, see the post below for why. but the only good thing about them is they carry their Identity. But for how long, a Generation or Two Later when they and their sons, daughters and sisters mix with these, we will have not much left of our family ties, genetics, culture(forget value, they have already lost that) and thus identity.

most iranians living in USA are the ones who were born and bred there or raised there, they abandoned the country when WE PERSIANS ousted their USA, UK Puppet SHAH in '79 thanks to the mollahs. They Left us when the USA, Soviet Union, Arabs and UK used Saddam to Invade Iran. They Ran and Left. These "American" Iranians are like you Indians, Most of them are sons of turks or arabs or half berds and the rest are just wanting to put a WESTERN PUPPET GOVERNMENT in Iran for that they could make Iran back to pre 79 days and a Western Clone. to Facilitate for them to now move back. Thats Speaks a lot about how Much Iranian they are when they want a forging power to rule their country.
I never claimed Scots will vote for independence. I just stated that there has been a strong upsurge in Scottish nationalism and SNP party in general that wasn't there before. I doubt the independent vote will win, but Scottish nationalism has been on the up.Studying?
