@iranigirl2 : he may be patriot from your view point but from american view he is traitor. You should be faithful to your country.
If an american origin person does the same in iran (I know there is no such people, but if it does happen) would you not call him traitor.
That's a cultural difference I have noticed a lot with Indians in the UK. From this forum it would seem US Indians are the same. When you move to Britain you guys want to be known as British. I have read some studies that South Asians are more patriotic towards Britain then any other group, including indigenous white people.
Well that isn't the same with Iranians. The vast majority of Iranians put their Iranian identity above that of the country they live in.
