A Pakistani: What I saw in India and why I think this is India's moment

A nation with an ancient history inherits wisdom, culture and a sense of identity. They stand confidently on the shoulders of giants. Sadly, Pakistan doesn't know the importance of this giant. Many educated Pakistanis accept western ideas. You can't unite Pakistanis with this idea, it won't work for Pakistan.
Today Pakistan is an orphan. He denies his own South Asian Islamic history and South Asian Islamic culture. Only religion remains. What is Pakistan? How to culturally justify Pakistan as a South Asian country? What philosophies does Pakistan today inherit from ancient Pakistan? and culture?

Pakistanis also praise their sacrificial lambs the same way as the video is 'praising' India.
People like you should think before typing.

India is not going to explode. It is heading towards a glorious implosion. Ofcourse such projects take time but they do deliver.
In your attempted wisecracking utter foolishness stands exposed. Learn to differentiate between cop and thief. Or simpler, check out which country is begging for survival and which is sending aid where needed. Check out which country has 10+ terrorist attacks weekly and which is not.

You must be one of those failed pakistani establishment elites with no concern for pakistani people but just venting hatred of India

I do think there is an identity crisis of sorts that plagues many there.. the whole "we wuz arabs/turks"

plus, the visceral reactions to the truth that they

"wuz actually Hindus"

Historically, South Asia had Islam and Buddhism. At least Buddhism is voluntary, and Buddhists don't like to be inferior, which is also reflected in their resistance to foreign invasion. This is completely different from Hinduism. The Maurya Dynasty was a Buddhist country.

wth do you mean by " at least Buddhism is voluntary" ??

just where did Buddhism spring from ? who were Gautama's teachers ? what did they practice ?

who the hell is talking about Buddhism as being 'inferior' anyway ?

it has expanded far and wide and taken on local cultures and assimilated itself into, so many streams of.. Japanese, Thai, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Indian, Tibet/Chinese, Vietnamese, Myanmar, Cambodia and so on..

Mahayana and Theravada, broadly.

Islam has its origins in Arabia from where it has expanded and similarly has taken on various shades as it expanded eastward..

So, like most Pakistanis, now you have begun to accept that Bangladesh was never a part of Pakistan, actually it was a burden and in 1971 it was a good riddance.
How did you deduce that?

India refuses to acknowledge her problems. Pakistan has no qualms about the challenges she faces.

Huh ? Have you heard of bhuddist monks of srilanka and Myanmar?
The land which invented Bhuddism says Bhuddha is part of Hinduism. R u better qualified to deny that ?
Pls read before using terms like historically.

I really hope it doesn't get as bad as that.
But people like you have to play the right part by not constantly misleading your people.

The Buddha believed that people are equal to each other, and so are people and Buddhas. Buddha does not command his followers, nor does he force people to believe in him. There is no caste system in Buddhist eyes.

Buddhism believes that all people are equal. Buddha never said part of Hinduism. Buddha said there is no God.

. .
Are all people equal ?
“To Make All Persons Equal” Is the Hallmark of Buddhism
