A New Era Begins in Serbia and Turkey Relations

Turkey should remember Srebrenica & tread with caution.

Turkey today is like Bosnia and Kosovo's big brother. I believe They also see Turkey as brothers. In the last visit of Turkey to Serbia, it has established a thio dialogue mechanism to improve peace and stability among the Balkan countries. Turkish contractors will connect Serbian and Bosnian cities with road and bridge projects. What Turkey is doing is to maintain a peaceful environment in this region so Turkey should improve its relations with all sides. I see Serbia is also eager to be a strong friend of Turkey and they are very pleased with our president's visit.

Btw, I admire the hard work of Serbian engineers in the defense industry. They achieve massive projects Although Serbia itself has a relatively small country in terms of population and territory. They are strongly ambitious to pursue industrial programs so they will be keenly interested in some of the ongoing 700 strategic defense programs Turkey is achieving at present...

Here is a slight correction, this is an agreement between Turkey and Serbia, not so much Bosnia and Herzegovina. Even though they mentioned Bosnia, that was in relation to certain projects that they are involved in. However, there will be a meeting tomorrow October 8th which will include Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Turkey relations with Albania and Kosovo has tanking for a bit since the 2016 coup lots of pro Gulen Turks settled there plus the folks here who bring up the conflicts in the 90s that was mostly in Bosnia, the Serbs killing the folks were mainly Bosnian Serbs

Excellent diplomatic stroke the 90s are long over I know the pain might be fresh but Turkey would have much better standing in the Balkans by putting peaceful solution there and could be a lynchpin of stabilty for that region next thing should be Nagaro-Karabakh and Caucausus region to be fair Armenia is land locked and irrelevent unlike Georgia and Azerbaijan besides the Russians are getting kinda closer to you guys may as well push the Armenians to mature up I hope so

Albanians and Kosovo govt are Yankee puppets, Turkey if it wants to be independent Eurasian state should ally with those against the Yanks but at least be pragmatic get the sides working together in one lock step

The 1990s was golden time for us to expand into Central Asia, Russia,Iran, Eastern Europe and west Africa yet we blew it as usual no long term strategy in Islamabad , Ankara, Tehran, Beijing plus Moscow reasserting influence in those former republics in Eurasia and else where has locked us out for forseeable future even if Afghanistan is solved we will be just junior partners

I see Turkey as one of the, if not THE future leader of the Muslim countries & therefore hope Turkey will always prioritize Muslims of the Balkans over Serbia.

armenia is not gonna be mature up... They are two-faced snakes so there will be no aggreement with them, Our problems with Serbs were mostly historic. They dont want any land from us, we dont want any land from them, and we are ready to shake hands... Both Serbia And Turkey respect each other.
