A muslim man denied German citizenship for refusing to shake woman's hand

Is that a law ? is there a clause in German immigration form that if you are coming here you have to shake hands with Females ? its a choice one can refuse to do if he wants too , by refusing to shake hands he did not break any law nor shown any disrespect towards a lady . Specially in this age, since Metoo movement , girls can lie about a sexual assault or rape even if the man just hand shake them . I saw a video from Wall street where a office guy was telling the interviewer that since metoo movement employee are scared to even shake hands with their female co-workers .

It's obviously not a law, had that been the case he would be deported. By applying for citizenship you are subjecting yourself to a criteria, where you are deemed to be fit to hold the passport of the said country. In the UK we have such a process.
This chap failed at the first hurdle, his actions were not conducive to this process.
the irony is in your posts.

regards

You need to improve your English, you obviously didn't understand anything.

but this is wrong for them to go out of their way to reject his immigration application based on something which is his personal choice ? I thought western liberal secular ways are live and let live ? or as long as you are not harming anyone its fine ? what happen to that ?
Tell me something if I met the Queen and try to shake her hand, you think she will shake my hand ? and what if she refused to do so ?

One thing is that they should make it clear, i'm not sure if they have. However they may deem it necessary that he has a basic understanding of how society operates in Germany, hence this rejection. As for not harming anyone, they may see it as a 'sign of things to come' i.e. this could lead to extremist behaviour. I know it doesn't usually, but it is their state.
Also yes, the Queen shakes the hands of many people, and she's well known for this. My father has met the Queen.
Obviously now with Covid it's different.

well we have German people here, its not a German law to shake hands , i think that is enough reason to say its a overreaction by them ,as for extremist behavior honestly I wont be shaking anyone hand in the times of COVID, his fault was that he was honest about why he refused to shake hands, he could lie easily and get out of the situation but he didn't , that makes him a better human than you and me in the first place .
Of course its their state, but don't you think they lose the moral obligation to lecture others when they themselves behave like this ? in fact refusing his immigration application on behalf of refusal to shake female hand itself is a extremist behavior from the German immigration system .

But I heard in a News that her Royal protocol is that you can not touch the Queen , heard that when Trump touched her in the back .. LOL

.
This is disgraceful behaviour from Germany.

This guy went to Germany, studied and became a doctor and is taking care of Germans as his profession.

His religious beliefs prohibit him from shaking hands with a female and that should be respected.

PS - I have no issues with shaking hands with a female and not at all religiously minded.

Like I said in my previous post, such things can make them think the opposite. Yes he didn't lie that's commendable, but I wouldn't have applied to a nation which conflicted with my personal held beliefs.

Not without consent of course lol. She often reaches out for a handshake. You're not really meant to touch anyone without their consent.

Well he is 'The Donald', I must say his mum would have hit him over the head for that. She was a proud Brit of Scottish decent.

The main point of the problem i see is :

if this man do not want to shake hand to women, then how as a doctor will he check up women ? Unless he is specialist of erection problem... I don’t see a woman coming to see him and saying him “hi doctor I have a problem of erection” (sorry for this example)

The issue is not the handshaking but his status of doctor and the health care he will have to provide equally to men and women

how will he checkup a woman if he doesn’t want handshaking a woman ?

First of all he was applying for citizenship so it was like a job interview and he simply failed. Now you can say that the liberal west failed his freedoms but then the Chinese has said this for 50 years, The west is hypocritical and two faced. They talk about freedoms and multiculturalism as long as it doesn't affect their way of life and their culture and they expect everyone to integrate into western culture in 1-2 generations throwing away their original culture. Cultural Genocide in short.

This kind of case is unimaginable in Canada. I would say Canada is the best country for Muslims in terms of religious freedom. I feel sorry for Muslims who live in Europe. They have no idea what degree of freedom and security they are missing that can only be found here in North America.
North America and Europe are fundamentally very different. It has to do with the fact that Europe has only come out of fascism and Nazism very recently. They don't have a strong liberal tradition like America. You hear about legislation being enacted in parts of Europe banning infant male circumcision, banning animal sacrifice, Halal meat, banning the burqa, banning minarets, even talk about forcing Muslims to sign a document saying they respect homosexuals. All of this is unimaginable in America. It's also because America and Canada have vibrant Orthodox Jewish communities with a lot of political influence. These kind of European laws would affect them negatively too, so we should be grateful for their presence.

What hapenned to the concept of freedom to choose? Isnt there anything like respect for personal preferences? Its weors that western countries want people to adopt their culture to gain citizenship but they object to others who want to implement their own culture in their own countries.
Also there are muslim morons here who think refusing to shake hands with female is extremism. We most Pakistanis dont shake hands with females, we also dont like our sisters n mothers to shake hands with other men, its our culture and part of our modesty, has nothing to do with sexual stuff. The hypocrite west and there immigrated minions can jump up and down, reality is these hypocrites ban a headscarf, a purely personal clothing choice, but its ok to roam around naked. The west is going down the drain.
I urge my muslim and Pakistani fellows to reject western culture, remove their filth from ur family n kids. Make ur kids love ur country n culture and resist this culture of wanting to live abroad.
Don’t go to western countries then.
