Iran never had a nuclear bomb program! In other words, Iran never took an active step towards building a bomb.

I Know, but. We are under a political war with most of the world, under the most brutal economic war fare in human history, we are somehow involved in a war with KSA, we are facing direct military attacks by Israel in Syria, we have been fighting ISIS and their support from various countries both in Iraq and Syria. There is this rivalry with Turkey. We are facing internal problems. A lot of Iranians are unhappy with IRI and let’s not forget the issues with our alarming water levels. Doubt it , I can understand additional protocol be dead and buried but I can't see a scenario that iran leave NPT unless there be an open war with iran and I still cant see Iran leave NPT unless somebody use nukes .

Even after complying, and additional protocols it is a toothless mechanism for compliance as its lost its respect globally. Iran's position is absolutely correct that why even bother to spend a decade formulating a pact, when the West refuses to respect it after signing on to it in the first place.

The multilateral JCPOA getting annulled will have far reaching consequences even for the IAEA. It's become a credibility issue or lack of it thereof. It will bring the entire NPT regime into question not just the annulment of the JCPOA.

P.S. Fat Kim, Russia and China are also watching intently as Trump makes a mockery out of international law. This annulment of the JCPOA will impact the situation in the Korea's too. This is not a joke.
