We are facing savages who fought gorilla warfare for decades these people are experts and have considerable experience .. sindh police is no match for them .. thousands have sneaked in this unfortunate city who has held a open door policy for every one .. and its residents have paid the highest price be it financially or the bloody body count. Army and agencies in all their wisdom know what is going on , but their relucatance to take serious action is frustrating - only they can defeat this manace no one else as they are the vary creators

army did whatever army experts thought was best at that time...ie throwing russia out of region...if not then russians might be sitting in karachi today......the lapse can easily be observed when PPP showed up as ususal and unexpected death of general Zia....anyways......I still salute my dear army for working so hard right now...they working extremely hard in different sectors and conducting as much proper covert as well as overt operations as much as possible for them.......
right now our main issue is this terrorist's funded TTp and some terror supporting element not army....
infact army is our strength and shield against these terrorists...our support will morally empower army...
instead of playing blame game around that who is responsible and who is not we need to unite and diagnose those terror provoking elements.

I think time is ripe for Karachi Police to have its own Encounter Specialists. They dont always strictly follow the rules but they have a very calming effect on the trouble makers. A few dozen Gang leaders ( or, in this case Taliban leaders ) with bullet in their head, and every thing will start falling in place. We have seen this working in Mumbai and lately in Bihar. Works like magic.

That's not army's duty to control each city's situation .. Army is already busy in many regions of Pakistan ..

Playing their role to build peace in many areas if army is called in every city who will take care of our borders ..

Army can't come in cities that's why rangers and police are payed .. Government should give free hand to them .. Give better weapons and training tactics should also change
