What's new

A lie repeated often becomes truth---- the west used this trick to Xinjiang

.
There are actually very few hardcore religious people in Xinjiang, but their voices are loud, because foreigners, especially the West, support them. Uyghurs like colorful clothes and flowers. They can sing and dance and are incompatible with extreme conservatism. There are still many ethnic minorities in Xinjiang who are living well, don’t you know?
You apparently focus on the material well beings. Of course I know how people in Xinjiang lived and are living. I lived there and still have many childhood friends who still live there. The quality of their lives often exceeds those in GanSu and NingXia.

But those hardcore religious nuts don't care so much about it. At least, you cannot bribe them out of their own belief. That is what I have been repeating and those who are under heavy influence of CCP simply don't get it.

Hardcore religious people cannot participate in terrorist attacks, cannot engage in separatist activities, and cannot force others how to live in the name of religious freedom. Do you think it is religious freedom to let them do whatever they want?

I am sure they have done extensive root cause analysis. But their solutions show that they haven't found it. Their understanding is all around material well beings. But religious radicals care little about the material comfort. In fact, CCPs should know it well since they were like them when they were struggling for survival. To break religious radicalism, you have to offer a better spiritual alternative. But that is what CCP cannot provide. They are all about materialism. That is I keep saying : Xinjiang is stuck.
No, I disagree. There are multiple causes but I do not believe spiritual needs is a major one.

Before the Mercedes fiasco could cool down, the Kelantan state government was hit with another bombshell. After the state government rewarded themselves with 14 Mercedes-Benz, including a luxury Mercedes sedan – S450L AMG – a model with a retail price of RM699,888, it was exposed that the same elite PAS Islamist holy men had also gifted themselves with RM50,000 cash.

Of course not. One's freedom always has its boundary, which is the freedom of another person. In addition, there is never a freedom of violence, except for self defense.

The issue with CCP is that they do not allow religious freedom of any kind. As the effect, they do not enable other moderate religious groups to prevent those hardcore ones from recruiting. CCP only presents itself, particularly its materialism, as the only viable alternative, which no Muslims will buy.

But it is the cause that entices people and helps recruiting. People want a sense of purpose, especially in the time of hardship. Helped with the sense of victimhood, that is how extremism grows.

In fact, it has nothing to do with religion or materialism. There are secularist people who do not pursue material things and live a simple life. There are also those who have seen the world go and become monks. Will the government interfere with their lives? Tibetans believe in Buddhism. Now the government will not interfere. It depends not on what you believe, but on what you do against the law or not. Do you understand it?

It has everything to do with religion for those hardcore religious nuts. Do you understand it?

It doesn't matter, just follow the law. Your fundamental problem is that you don't understand religious freedom. It doesn't matter if you are hardcore. You can't force others. Simply put, that's it.

They don't force others. They induce them. That is how many people even in the West got recruited by extremists. Now, how would you prevent that?

And how you could think that extremists force others to become extremists is beyond me.

The problem of induction has something to do with education. Compulsory education was not done well in the past, but now it is much better. They must force others to form a scale.

Yes, education in general. But educating with what? Don't tell me what is taught in Chinese schools is adequate. I was educated in China. And I suggest you think more about specifics, instead of just being satisfied with big and generic words.

If you have something to say directly, don't ask the other way around.

China branch of cotton trade body finds no forced labour in Xinjiang

(Reuters) - The China branch of the cotton trade body Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) said on Friday it had not found signs of forced labour related to cotton production in Xinjiang.
The comments come as a number of overseas retailers face a public backlash from Chinese consumers who circulated statements from the brands on social media announcing they will cease sourcing from Xinjiang. BCI counts many of the brands in question, including H&M, Nike, and Adidas, as members.
"The BCI Shanghai representative office once again solemnly reiterates that the China project team strictly abides by BCI's audit principles," the trade body said in a statement.

"Since 2012, the Xinjiang project site has performed second-party credibility audits and third-party verifications over the years, and has never found a single case related to incidents of forced labor."

The branch added it would remain in communication with its Chinese partners in Xinjiang.

Earlier this week, Chinese citizens launched a social media backlash against H&M by circulating a notice the company published last year stating it would cease sourcing cotton from Xinjiang. The backlash quickly extended to other overseas brands.

Human rights organisations have accused China of running forced labour camps for Uighur Muslims living in the western region. Beijing has repeatedly denied the accusations, calling the camps in question vocational training centres.

A number of major Chinese apps have joined the backlash by removing H&M from their listings.

Free wheeling religion is not unlike gangsterism or sex cult. Gangsterism, cult and extreme Islam is favor by west, so to give west a pretext to accuse host of genociding if these sects happen to rebel.

For example Duterte drug campaign is being smear as genocide. So is Myanmar, Syria, Yugoslavia...etc
