first of all, I am Muslim and love my country Pakistan who came in the map only for the name of Allah, our Pak army institute foundation based on meritorious, this note is excellent but shouldn't emphasis on Sindhi image dominated in the letter because I am also Sindhi immersion and shouldn't use it when the address to our national institute, his pain haunted ghost history about Thori Phatak Incident, he is trying to remove this pain and this note a building a strong foundation of a good relationship. second, his letter is showing that our Pak army is a prestigious organization and is totally based on meritorious without any biased opinion on the selection process which is a good sign of our Institue to creating harmony among ultra-nationalist parties. Pakistan zindabad and Pak Army zindabad. I love my all provinces culture and language, can speak Urdu, Sindhi(Shah Bhatti), Punjabi(Bullah Shah), Balochi, Persian(Love Iqbal's poetry), little Pashtu, Hindko. This is the beauty of my country Allah blessed me to give a birth right of this land who only came in the name of Allah. I am away from a country almost 34 years now, but I transferred major language to my kids Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi and Arabic to integrate easily with any overseas Pakistani communities and other Muslim communities. Strictly told them never to hide your identity as Pakistani no matter how tough time we will face with other nationalities who some of them built stereotypes mindset about Pakistani. That experience I already enjoyed by losing my job two years ago when some newly immigrants Indian boss asked about my origin of birthplace and then within 15 days I was out of a job where I worked for them for 10 years.[emoji847][emoji16] Pakistan Pinedabad !!! MQM came because of ethnic hatred espoused by lazy and low IQ sons of soil.MQM taught us how to fight for our existence and rights which I and many of my ethnic colleagues will be forever be grateful of... It is really unfortunate , Altaf turned into a rogue individual , along the lines of G M Syed , PTM and Baloch separatists.

Dear Sir,
We the people of Sindh extend our appreciation and gratitude for the promotion of two Sindhi speaking Brigadiers to the rank of Major Generals.

This is a welcome gesture not only for Sindh but for entire Pakistan and a challenge to those who have been trying to divide patriotic Pakistanis.

Its first time in the history of Pakistan that two meritorious Sindhi officers have been promoted to the prestigious rank of Major General.

Our army is a national institute and it should have due representation from all federating units. Fair representation at all levels for all segments of society will make this organization truly a national entity. Similarly all civilian organizations of Federal Government should have fair representation at all tiers. Spirit of federation requires equal and equity-based representation for all provinces of Pakistan and specially for those who are underprivileged.

I hope that Armed Forces of Pakistan will continue this positive, fair, transparent and merit -based national policy.

I think most people have missed the premise of this letter.

This letter has a message, and it itself is a message, the response of armed forces would be another message.

The letter is written with good intents, purely to appreciate and reaffirm the Armed Forces non-discriminatory attitude and purely based on merit.

However, the party, the message, itself has some flaws. Even though this thing exists in Pakistan, Ethnic talks on mass level, this letter appreciates Ethnic based Promotion but This sort of concern should not exist in any mind at first place...

Certainly, those who wrote the letter, have some issues or aren’t much informed about the promotion and selection criteria of armed forces and how everything is totally based on merit even for minorities. Heck, even for genders, as we have a Maj Gen Lady as well in the promotion list.

So in short, Letter with good intent, but poor mindset...

He and some others, and brother, you as well. You don’t have to always open up such convo everytime given that neither you will change your thoughts and neither would the other party. Both are wrong and correct in respective views.

For instance, @Indus Pakistan did say that MQM ruled Pakistan’s most important city, but he is blind to point out at PPP which has equally or even more than MQM, destroyed Karachi (Most important city of Pakistan in terms of trade and supply/port).

People who don’t reside in Karachi, seldom know what they are speaking.

I thought he was Urdu speaking so-called "Mohajir", which I don't count as such.
Correct me if I am wrong, he was from Karachi (not born there) and last I checked Karachi is part of the Province of Sind. Or Paleijo only consider those who speaks "Sindhi" as "Sindhi" or belonging to Sind!!
