Try to understand nobody is saying Karachi is nothing or Karachi is village, why are u so insecure??????

On calling some karachi mall Asia's biggest i like to introduce "Mantri Square Mall" in India which is spread over 1.7 Million Sq Ft this about 6 times bigger then Karachi mall. BTW, all the malls are fully air conditioned.

First of all it is in a small City my City Peshawar. So you can imagine the malls in Karachi would be far better and on a par with any mall in India.

Secondly that was suppose to be the biggest mall in Asia but later due to some technical reasons the construction was made limited to certain point.

Above all Insecure or to say show off are Indians by jumping over praise of one family from karachi for your mall.

You should have been thankful for that praise but instead you tried to present Karachi as if people there have never seen malls.

BTW i have seen Indians with open mouth looking at malls in Dubai and Japan

lolzzz no wonder Indian crapy film industry portrays Karachi in a way that we are left with banging our heads with walls .

Now i think what was that family thinking by seeing neon signs in gorgan or whatever it is.

Just as i saw,Jana was exploring the thread, i was ready to get off topic.
"Over the past 10 years the city has undergone rapid development and construction.[5] A wave of multinational companies choose to locate their operations in Gurgaon after GE did so in 1997. This has made Gurgaon the call centre capital of the world, and an important financial center of India.[6]"

"Favorable tax policy by the Haryana government, pressure from Rajiv Gandhi to allow private companies to build properties and its proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport saw the emergence of Gurgaon as one of the most prominent outsourcing and offshoring hubs in the world"

Now i am ready for your jealousy speaking for you.

Something is amiss in terms of the numbers here. Development for India is a good thing by the way so I am not here to put this down in any way. My point was about how people afford it. Someone responded, everybody in Gurgaon can afford it. Well if Gurgaon is the entire of India then this is news to me.

Now coming back to your numbers, you say 55 million is poor and 40 million are middle class. That is 95 million people. So what category are the rest of 1 billion, 139 million people? Either they all must be like Gurgaonites or they are all very poor. I think your numbers misrepresent the real situation. Pakistan is no different. The malls are packed but the shoppers hardly represent the masses even though over the past 8 years, the middle class has seen significant growth.

You do not get the point. Places like these malls are built to satisfy locals of the city and a certain section of the society.Do u think the entire india can fit in to these malls? In a city like Gurgaon the demand is huge, there is a significant portion of people that have money to spend and hence all these malls.

Do not worry no one is building malls next to the slums in Mumbai.

1. I don't think karachi figures in any of Indian films so why are you posting from imagination??? What film industry have to do with it???

2. Also, the pics posted are nothing special believe me every Indian city have these type of malls.

And Mall in Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Navi Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad are too way ahead of what he have posted.

Also, he have posted some future projects image rendering if i start posting about future projects then u will faint by seeing lavishness and grandness of it.

Once again I'm saying no body is belittling Karachi try to be rational.
