What's new

A huge military buildup is underway in Qatar.. But who will man the systems?

I have made no claims my friend It was an assumption and talk between Kaptaan and me.

This was an assumption?

@Kaptaan Qatar has bought JF-17 they are not making it Public because of Saudi backlash on Pakistan and AZM is being funded by Qatar as well to some extent. This will come as a surprise one day to every one.

Ok, let's assume you meant it as an assumption but mistakenly got carried away in your zeal to empower the Qatar/Pakistan military cooperation and how mighty Qatar will be etc. I'll accept that so we can move on. :-)

PS, just FYI, friendly advice; it is impossible for 98.9% of all countries in the world to purchase a military platform of that caliber, without it becoming public information in this current day and age. Please keep that in mind for the future.

Now let me tell you one thing more. Qatar is investing heavily in military sector and they will emerge as more stronger Arab nation. Qatar is currently in very good condition economically and is moving at a steady pace. Plus Pakistan and Qatar are allies.

There is some truth to all that you just said hey, what'd ya know! :-) J/K

Typhoons, Rafales, F-15s and Mirage 2K, who wouldn't want an AF like that? Agreed.

.
Well yes i have, the 6.7 Billion dollar deal is a massive development, but what has PAF got to do with this? I would had considered it if it was an F-16....
It's a plane that PAF pilots have never flown and have only seen in an exercise, How can you help them and yes saudi have even a bigger list in their pockets, but with US and Turkey backing qatar they can hold the ground till situation cools down....and yes Indians have always stood with qatar...

There is no war with illiteracy. Now are you a real idot or trying to be one?

Have you read my comment I said they will be trained by USA and polished by Pakistanis. India is behind UAE not Qatar. PAF is already dealing with Qatar. Qatar is a very big customer of PAC as PAC is supplying Qatar with aircraft and maintain their Mirages. Plus they also use Pakistani instructors. Even Iraq and turkey also use Pakistani instructors.

I have one question where will Qatar get it's fifth gen?

There is your hate not even for single second you forget my flags right?
you got nothing on EF's and yes who told you India doesnt support Qatar?
You know nothing about India and Qatar relations, our trade is worth 1.2 billion dollars and we have more than 0.7 million Indians in Qatar, how can we not support Qatar, If needed can you send your ships and fighters to protect them? I think $1.2 dollars trade is worth more than just spares and instructors? Food>weapons?

as PAC is supplying Qatar with aircraft and maintain their Mirages.

Shove that in Google transl.

https://www.aerocontact.com/emploi-aeronautique/formateur-mirage-2000rafale~326703.html

And please understand that French armament
of that technological level is supported by us
if only to avoid snooping?

PAC provides SuperMushak and related training.

In general, let's not forget that if this orgy of
deals is concomitant with the GCC crisis, the
first attempts at modernizing the QEAF date
much farther back.
After the Libyan air party, Qatar wanted the
Rafale but a common deal with the UAE was
seen as too far in the future for Doha's taste.
Having some liquidity problems, the Mirages
were offered ( and no they weren't in 2003 ).

All in all, including the C-17 and Apache deals
with the US less than 10 years back and the
Pilatus training system, the build up of the
QEAF did not start when its "friends" got iffy
and all I know what you did last summer ...
it had begun much earlier even if the scope
of the recent bump is impressive.

Just sayin', Tay.

.
Yes sir. When the crap hits the fan. Who do you call? United States Marine Corps !!!

@Gomig-21 Who could guess that Qatar has purchased Chinese SY-400 ballistic missile?

No wonder if they are going to buy JF-17 thunder, during a possible war, with no doubt, it will be much easier to buy it's spare parts, missiles etc without any fear of sanctions.

Yeah, we knew they bought some Chinese ballistic missile. If one's been paying attention, this is not some sudden surprise. More importantly they are showing them. Where are the phantom JF-17s?

Are you also suggesting they already bought the JF-17 that no one knows about except for you and 1 other PDF member? Or are you saying they are going to buy it? Those are 2 different things.

I have one question where will Qatar get it's fifth gen?

It already has bought the JF-17 Block VI 5th gen about a year ago, but no one knows about it. :-)

One more question if you care to answer why have all Arabs boycotted Qatar?

.
And they all were telling me Qatar is not buying any thing other than European and USA. lol dumbs will remain dumb.
Thanks for the beautiful images they make the thread lively.

Well, Qatar is a reliable and important nation for China in many ways: 1. Oil/Gas cooperation, China buys half of Qatar's LNG exports. 2. Qatar invested XX billions for Chinese projects around the whole world including CPEC and so on.

Buying more and more arms from China should be wise decision for Qatar.

However there are something in China that money can't buy it!!!

Yes Qatar is investing in Pakistan heavily, mostly in energy sector, power plants. They are also very friendly to Pakistan as they have provided Pakistan with Visa free entry and much more business opportunities and accommodations in Qatar.
