A female news presenter without a headscarf in Saudi Arabia

When has KSA commented on the veil in other countries? The answer is never.

Criticizing the treatment of Muslims in certain countries is not surprising as KSA is the birthplace of Islam and will obviously speak for Islam for that reason alone.

Unfortuantely this idiotic law, which is not really a law (it only says that women are not allowed to take a driving license) is a disgrace for KSA in my opinion and must change immediately which King Abdullah also have said that he will do. Anyway many women are still driving and when stopped many of the policemen are just looking the other way. Some women are driving on the countryside etc. be it in mountain villages or more secluded areas on the countryside across KSA.

It is particularly ironic given that Muslim women in the time of the Prophet were able to ride horses and camels into war, and yet they cannot drive cars (the modern day equivalent of horses), now in the Land of Islam. I am sure that gradually this situation will change, inshaAllah.

Indeed it is a disgrace. Totally alien to our lands and people. There were no such laws until the 1980's. Hijaz was always one of the most progressive and arguably the most cosmopolitan area of the Muslim world yet still retaining its Islamic heritage and culture.

Most people do not support this retarded law at all (see social sites and ordinary people when they discuss it - nobody I know support this really, it has no religious basis either) and regardless of there being a concern for the safety of women, extremely dangerous roads in KSA with many fatalities on a weekly bases etc. then there is no excuse for this law IMO. I am heavily against it and have always said so and openly on PDF many times.

It's also a mostly new law emerging from the early 1980's. Before women did drive cars let alone traditionally (non-modern times) on horses, camels etc.

A lot of semi-retarded laws were made in KSA after the Grand Seizure of the Masjid al-Haram in 1979 to appease the conservatives.:(

Thanks goes to this giant retard:

Insha'Allah this law will be gone very soon and other semi-retarded laws that are alien to our lands and people.

Sorry to burst your bubble no such thing as KSA existed at the birth of Islam, second I was talking about terrorist funding by KSA AND ITS CITIZEN forcing their version and beliefs all over the Muslims world.
