Firstly thank you for your answer:
All I hear is people blaming a 20yr old corpse instead of pointing out their own failure, ignorance and incompatibility....Were the people not busy sucking each other's blood, showing off, blabing sweet nothing promises and of course sucking the country off like a leach the coutnry wouldnt be in a disaster as it is now! I dont blame a man who was there for 10 yrs but has been dead for a further 20 yrs for Pakistan....I blame the very blind people who have been sucking it as leaches! The man is long dead blaming him is useless but the people alive did nothing to undo the changes a dead man left! It is amazing that even 2 decades down the path we can still blame Zia....He is like the Hitler of Pakistan...great even if he did bad stuff
I would go for a visionary person and one who inherits sad to say is never visionary until and unless he smells of the sweat of the hard-earned bread!
@KingMamba I demand reasoning
Now the silent majority is the biggest winner....were there a poll I think many would fall under that!
My question: kiyun nai uth raha mayra wattan? Why silent? Have we lost hope or the will to voice out?
In OP I had also listed the years and number of years each party had a go with Pakistan: about 20 yrs down his death no one can undo what he did! I am sorry to say then he was great! Because a great men only leaves and impression it doesnt matter good or bad....Meaning everyother political leaders were useless if they couldnt undo anything in the span of 2 decades! I dont mean to be sarcastic but that is how I see it...@Akheilos
you sir have summarized the almost every thing one would blame for the failiue of the state, you have done a fine job, Thank you for doing so and giving us an opportunity to discuss it with relevant knowledge summarized in hands
IMO, not only the information you have provided but on other happenings I would say that politics is not a bad choice if this "politics" is played on an international level rather on the national level, but with people like us it's the worst
my reason to it, well politics (for more that 80% of its population) gives shelter to those who are cunning, arrogant, illiterate, and the incapable.....it only provides access to the blood sucking people to get more out of nothing !!!!!
BHUTTO nailed it.....but it does not mean that ppp would do good every time.....it does not mean that I support ppp....in the modern pakistan there is no rival to him yet.
in the case of the army, ZIA's tenure was the worst Pakistan had ever faced.......we still bleed thanks to his big and vast burger fueled heart

The rest I agree ....politics came in....every one cuts themselves a nice slice
then came the time of Musharraf....
the country saw enormous success in all fields at all times
corruption was at a low....education was at a high.....economy was at a high.....law and order was good....development was good....he had the balls to face anyone and answer one in the eyes.....
this did not mean that he was perfect but he did well......he is also a human and would have made mistakes too.....they may be severe...but in a country where terrorists roam around freely, its hard to look for a balance.....its pretty obvious that musharraf is better than the terrorists
we had politics for 5 years with ppp.....and even now we are having it....
ppp destroyed every thing one could have....pml(n) is just working on the cosmetics of the country..like the metro bus, motorway etc.....they should realize that law and order is the number 1 priority
I want law and order...I want a safe country.....I want an educated society.....is that too much to ask for ???
(in the current situation)
I would go with the ARMY.....if there would have been some one more visionary than BHUTTO or equivalent I could have had second thoughts
I would go for a visionary person and one who inherits sad to say is never visionary until and unless he smells of the sweat of the hard-earned bread!

Hi I thank you for your input but since this is a discussion thread ...I was picking some brain and now I am challenging the answers I got...Not coz I dont believe you but coz I was a qaum that is awake and thinks...I replied to the last thread in detail .... so here in this thread I will summarize my previous post
I do not support any political party ...... I belong to 'silent majority'
Voted PTI in the last election to show my rejection and anger to both PPP and PML-N at Federal level and MQM in Urban Sindh.
Now the silent majority is the biggest winner....were there a poll I think many would fall under that!
My question: kiyun nai uth raha mayra wattan? Why silent? Have we lost hope or the will to voice out?
