UK is such country, I think its great that people dont give importance the tradition of marriage....its just another day like valentines day.. mothers day etc... does not make your union any special.

I respect your choice, am sure you got good reason, or you just like it that way. I dont see how having a child after a special occasion of feast and get together is any better.. thank having a child without such fuss.
Its just a social nicety, some are not bothered.
