‘A Capability That Even Russia Lacks’ – Experts Decode Why BrahMos Missiles Are A ‘Game-Changer’ For Indian Military

.
If im not wrong brahmos still uses Russian propulsion and seeker. No country will export its best tech to any other country.

So, in my pov this article is just Bolshevik style propaganda piece...

Seeker, guidence, body etc were indigenized long back. India is very much capable making better engine. India has tested hypersonic test vehicles numbers of time. India is working on Mini Brahmos with mach 4.5 speed.

Testing is one thing and serial production is another. India has a very vibrant history of over promise and under delivery...

Chinese say that India has 18000 Brahmos.

India definitely can make missile bodies no doubt about that. But, reliable seeker and guidance is another topic. Post some valid links to backup your claim sir.

Nope. India definitely can't make better engine than Russia. Russia has decades of research and IP, india doesn't.

Russia and China has hypersonic systems operational.

Not anymore. Russian involvement in the air launched Brahmos variant is close to zilch. India wanted assistance to modify the Sukhoi underbelly to carry the Brahmos. And India is said to have been received some "pointers".
This missile can be called 99% Indian missile as the propulsion system, seeker, even the design is Indian.
Naval and Army version have started to use Indian seeker already. Not sure of the propulsion part yet.

No 1

No 2 HSTDV uses scrsm jet engine which far advance than ramjet engine of Brahmos.

No3 We have hypersonic shaurya , K15 and K4 tested 2 decades ago. first 2 are operational for more than a decade.

Here we go again with self boasting until someone smack thier faces again.

Only Indians would think that their version of a Russian export is a "world beater." lol

BTW, China has a version of this same missile for export -- the CX-1. It is only for export though.

Paper missile which is on paper for years. Its only utility is to facilitate Chinese to claim that they too have a similar missile.

It was sold to Algeria in 2018.

There is no need to "claim" a platform that can be bought off-the-shelf from Russia (Yakhont/Onik) and which has had absolutely no impact during the war in Ukraine.

Of course, India can always say their version is better than the Russians' -- even though Indians are laggards in manufacturing practically everything with nothing competitive on the global market military or otherwise.

Must be tough living your life in delusion.

This sounds more like India's AMCA comparison with the J-20

Paper missile
Makes sense because Brahmos flies like a paper plane. Too strong wind and you accidentally launch it southwards, but when the wind changes direction it gets blown into Pakistan and crumples on the ground.
