You're confusing two different sources of knowledge, one angelic the other satanic. What is prohibited is the foretelling by stars and amulets and whatnot...that is the knowledge brought by satans among the jins that they glean from the samaawaat. What the gentlemen here are talking about is ru'yaa i.e. the handing out of info through Divinely-ordained source e.g. angels during your dreams. Prophet (S.A.W.) has predicted/foretold the events till Qayamah. Was He also getting His knowledge from Shayateen?

There are two kinds of Spiritual Knowledge my friend, one is that comes from the forced of darkness and one which comes from God Himself.
