yes ofcourse; it is my personal experience as well, that Chinese factory manager told me what happens and how designs are simply copied. We send designs to manufacture in Chinese factory and the next thing you know, a dozen copies appear in the market!
Perhaphd China will be but if that happens I'm sure the US weapons industry would tear up the country hoping the fear will give them money and allow them to come ahead-.-
There will come a point where the rest of the world will be content with their weaponry. And perhaps it'll be China that will be the pioneer.
Can you make out the difference? Left: The Original (US F-35) & the Clone (Chinese J-31) - An industry in which Chinese cloning has excelled to a disconcerting degree is the manufacture of weapon systems such as depicted here. Will cloning continue even in the private sector?

If it is indeed your own design, you should have registered with China's patent authority, and sue those who copied. Or your design itself was too "similar" to others' design, and those greedy Chinese businessmen happened to copy their design? The infamous "Pulsa" motorcycle was a case in point. The "design" was provided by an Indian company, and the Chinese company was simply making the bikes according to the "design" provided by the Indian customer, yet it got all the blame for copying.

Don't make fun of Indian pharma industry. Its cheap medications saves thousands around the world each day, including patients in China who otherwise cannot afford expensive brand name prescriptions. At least India has the guts to stick it to the big pharma instead of letting its people get ripped off.The core of F35 lays in its sensors and software. How can J31 copy those?
Indian pharmaceutical industry shows how copy masters at work. Chinese still have more room to catch up.
