98% of Chinese would reject receiving refugees: online poll

.
Is that what is written in the little red book of Mao? In the democratic, civilized world most of them were born in China, got on their yaks and begged for refuge to be let into India.
As we Chinese here said, we donnot care those traitors at all. They chose to follow Dala and betrayed the country. In our eyes, even if you guys slaughter them all, we will feel irrevelant and donot have any drop of tear. Moreover, the police have deleted their files when they became traitors and they donot have Chinese citiziship decades ago. Are we clear now?

But you should take for humanitarian ground as a world power it will improve your image too . Those whose policy are the reason of this problem the are taking too .

LATAKIA, Syria, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- A total of 1,000 tons of rice donated by China has been delivered to Syria's northwestern city of Latakia, the Chinese Embassy in Damascus said in a statement Monday.

The donation was part of a larger supplies aid to be delivered to the war-torn country in batches in the near future.

The statement said the 1,000 tons of rice is part of 5,404 tons of rice China is pledging to deliver in the near future.

"China is working hand in hand with the Syrian side to secure the rice to be delivered to the Syrian people as soon as possible," the statement read.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - China plans to provide an additional $100 million in assistance to help deal with the global refugee and migrant crisis and is also considering setting aside a $1 billion fund for the purpose, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Monday.

Li told a refugee summit at the United Nations that large movements of refugees posed a political, social and security threat that created opportunities for terrorists to exploit.

“We are committed to shouldering our responsibilities compatible with our abilities,” Li said.

“We would like to provide $100 million of additional humanitarian assistance on top of the previous pledges while considering taking further supportive measures.”

China said on Tuesday it has delivered all 5,404 tons of rice to Syria under the Belt and Road Initiative food aid plan, as humanitarian situation worsens in Syria.

It is under a broader humanitarian aid plan brought up by Chinese President Xi Jinping in May last year - it vows to provide an emergency food aid project worth two billion yuan (around 301.4 million US dollars) to developing countries along the Belt and Road Forum Initiative.

Speaking at a joint signing ceremony in Damascus, China's ambassador to Syria Qi Qianjin said China hopes to continue to provide relief aid to alleviate the suffering of Syrian people in the war-torn country.

actualy China take in some small "Refugee"
but this refugee make their selves count, contribute to society.. unlike the one running to europe.. lazy as f ck.. only want social walfare, don't want to work.. the most disgusting thing is, they do crime and rape women.

It's good that China is selective of the people that enters. These refugees in China have more dignity than those rampaging across Europe. I believe their homelands would become more beautiful than when they left it once peace is achieved.

It is unreasonable to assume China will accept lazy, violent, uneducated and entitled refugees. Some people from other countries might think this perspective is too harsh but it is quite normal in Chinese society. I'm sorry that China is not a wealthy first world nation with money to give away, every yuan was earned through blood and sweat, not just the product of a printing press. It is a developing nation trying to improve itself and doesn't have money to give welfare to refugees.

Heck even disabled people work hard to provide for themselves and their families. It is shameful in China to be a dead-weight on society. Being rich is not important but pull your own weight (trying to do so is good too), it is glorious to be self reliant. When I see a young healthy looking man asking for money on the streets in the West and contrast this with China, it makes me appreciate the working handicapped person even more.

Next time I see a working disabled person I would be more compelled to buy their product even if I don't really need it. Honestly I didn't used to appreciate their efforts when I walked by them in China, now I've gained a new perspective.

In some countries they think disabled people working is against human right but from China's perspective it is giving them salvation (chance to provide for their family) and find meaning in their lives (producing and contributing is honour). Of course the work should be reasonable and within their capacity.

Yes, I'm totally agree with you my friend @Cybernetics

If there is refugee, only the hardworking one will be accepted, not lazy and violent refugees

Hardworking is a part of Chinese society and culture.
There is always hardworking in every Chinese people blood

Take IQ test first, no less than Chinese average of 105.
Then, take Chinese language test, must pass equivalent of C2.
Then, take skills test, must have a proper college degree from world's top 500 uni with genuine work experiences.

China is just a developing country, with average income well below mid income countries. However, given I am an humanitarian I would support China to take some refugees if US can 6 refugees per 1 refugee to China considering the income gap.

In addition, I doubt any refugees would like to go to China. There is no Facebook, Twitter, instagram, bbc news, no freedom of speech, no democracy or other good stuff you find in the western countries. You will need to learn to speak Chinese, a difficult language to master. Given there is little social welfare in China, refugees in China will have to work like Chinese, meaning working minimum 12 hours a day from 8-8, 6 days a week, 360-365 days a year. Does anyone still want to go to China?

Thank you Daniel.

Yes, hardworking is part of Chinese society and culture. This cultural element has to be preserved through each generation. It will get people through the tough times. There is no reason to give free things to those that are ungrateful and will use you and destroy your house but this doesn't mean people should be ill intended towards these people. They should be taught and nudged to become contributing members of society even if they are not in China.

I believe Syria would be rebuilt to become even better than before. It used to be a good place. The number isn't important, the qualities of the human is.

It is true that refugees would have to work hard in China, it is not in need of population or a place with handouts (a reason for relative material abundance in recent years). One child policy wasn't enacted just to give opportunities to people that are ungrateful and will eventually hurt you or even worse. Many refugees chose Europe because they have heard of the free handouts and the lifestyle they could enjoy for free. Obviously this is not sustainable and leads to a vicious cycle financially, socially and mentally. Eventually people would realise this won't work in the long run.

If China is to restore its meritocracy, it shouldn't accept people who will damage the golden goose and should empower the brightest from its own nation and other nations who want to improve the world as well and not use their god given talents for destructive purposes.

Refugees are bad for a country. Trump realized this and is trying to reverse the trending US. China should stay out of the mess created by Zionist controlled US policy makers.
Let the US and Europoodles deal with it.

China can do anything except recieving refugees.
