95% of all Hindu temples in Pakistan have been destroyed or converted since 1990

Nope. Contrary to popular indian belief (a.k.a. "bullshit") there is no "Agenda" to topple minority places of worship. Just last year in Multan the St. Mary's Church was restored to full glory by Muslims

LOL. Destroy hundreds of places of worship and restore a church or two as token compensation and claim to be protector of minority rights.

ISLAMABAD:
Out of 428 minorities’ places of worship in the country, 408 have been converted into toy stores, restaurants, government offices and schools after 1990, a survey has found.

Another shocking figure disclosed in the survey conducted by the All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement (PHRM) was that only 20 Hindu temples out of the 428 places of worship are operational.

“The remaining places of worship have been leased for commercial and residential purposes by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), said PHRM Chairman Haroon Sarab Diyal. The 135,000 acres of land owned by around four million Hindus is now under ETPB’s control.

Representatives of the Hindu community also wrote to all the chief ministers of the four provinces but have not received a response yet, Diyal added. He urged the government to hand over these religious places to the Hindu community to mitigate their resentment and fear of being forced to leave their homeland.

Sharing documents with The Express Tribune, he revealed that Kali Bari Hindu Temple has been rented out to a Muslim party in Dera Ismail Khan. This historic temple is being used as Taj Mehal Hotel, he added.

The documents also allege that Frontier Constabulary officials, with the help of the ETPB, occupied the Shamshan Ghaat, also in Dera Ismail Khan. The Hindu community is unable to cremate their dead because of the unavailability of Shamshan Ghaat and is forced to bury them in a graveyard shared my members of other faiths.

A Hindu temple in district Bannu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, is now a well-known sweets shop. Meanwhile, the Holy Shiv Temple in Kohat has been converted into a government primary school.

Government Girls High School, Peshawar Cantt, now stands where a historical Hindu temple used to be; other historic temples such as the Asamai temple has been closed down in the K-P capital.

Meanwhile, Guru Duwara Gali, a Sikh religious place, has been converted into a garments shop in Abbottabad.

In the federal capital, Islamabad, the Raam Kunde Complex of Temples at SaidPur Model village is now a ‘picnic site’. A second temple at Rawal Dam, Islamabad, has been shut down and the Hindu community believes that it is going to dilapidate day by day without being handed over to them.

In Punjab, a Hindu temple was demolished and reconstructed as a community centre in Rawalpindi, while in Chakwal, ten famous temples collectively known as Bhuwan are being used by the local Muslim community for commercial purposes, despite being handed over to the Hindus.

“Even if we have control of the temples, local residents dump oil drums, utensils and animals around them,” complained Diyal.

However, Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Yousaf assured that the Evacuee Trust has already been directed to gather the data pertaining to all religious places owned by minority communities. “At least, [all this] did not happen during our government’s tenure,” he said when he was informed of the survey’s findings. “I’ll take up this matter with minorities’ leaders. It’s a serious matter.”

A committee will be constituted to address these concerns, he routinely added.

I am surprised why that 5% still continue to exist. I believe that task shall be finished withing couple of coming years.

@Pakistanis or anyone with knowledge of Islam

I have 2 questions.

1) If you insult Islam, Quran asks to give death penalth. What is the penalty given in Quran if a Muslim insults other religion?

2) If you convert from Muslim to other religion, Quran asks to give death penalth. What is the penalty given in Quran for converting from Hindu/SIkh/.Christian to Muslim?

Anyone with clear answer is welcome. Please post relevent quote/hadith also if possible.

I made no such claims. Just proving that your theories look better if penciled on toilet paper - or whatever your people use

Let me answer your questions , my answers are based on what I have read here from posts of Pak posters .

Ans 1. Muslims do not insult other religions.

Ans 2. No forcible conversions take place to Islam, people come looking for the love and harmony it brings into their lives.

Nope. Contrary to popular indian belief (a.k.a. "bullshit") there is no "Agenda" to topple minority places of worship. Just last year in Multan the St. Mary's Church was restored to full glory by Muslims

95% destruction of all religious sites of Hindus.

v/s

what you posted above. (Incidents which happen in any country in world including US, EU, UK)

Does it even qualify for a comparison!

Ripple effect of Babri Mosque.

Thank u Sir Ji

so if 1 mosque is demolished, you destroyed the whole Hindu community in Pakistan. Peace seems inherent to Islam (sorry but what else does it mean then if you say we destroyed 95% of all Hindu worship places as retaliation for 1 Mosque).

Off topic but, further I might ask one question, why can't Muslims of India willing give that land to Hindus. Can't they gift it to their Hindu brothers, considering Ayodha is the most sacred land for Hindus. In response I am sure Hindus would be happy to build Mosque for their Muslims brothers in some other grand place.

Ayodha to Hindus is like Mekka and Medina to Muslims. I don't know why Muslims cannot understand this little thing or show this little empathy to their Hindus brothers.

It would have been better if you would have opened them to see the dates

2008, 2011 and 2014 but I could see how badly you do want to bring India into the picture when the report has nothing to do with India. Shame on you to hide behind the garb of news from other country.

. .
That is fine for them. Most of the Hindus have been killed/converted/expelled. Such land is of no use. They can do what they want. The nation was created for a purpose. This is normal.

:enjoy:

You should also try to implement Hindu version of Taliban, and should train on suicide bombing, given if you're not the 'internet ka sher, ghar ka phattu' in real life.
We don't need that. Enough Hindus hate Hindus just for being Hindus. No need to bomb. :D

tell that to the Sikhs, Muslims and Christians that escaped india and took asylum in Canada, Australia and elsewhere

I could make a fool out of you in so many ways right now, but i'll leave you alone to fester.....you indians are a funny lot, drowned beyond oblivion in delusion

Of course 408 places of worship destroyed out of 428 cannot be an agenda. Just proves even toilet paper has more worth than your words.

most hindus are concentrated in rural farm lands of Sindh.....in india these hindus would be called "untouchables" or "low caste".....they'd be cleaning toilets and forced to pick up human feces that are thrown in the middle of the streets in india

in Pakistan many are farmers who work hard, live in dignity and NEVER go to sleep hungry at night

I can say with confidence they are better off in Pakistan

p.s. on a side note, even Jamat ud Dawa (whom you call terrorists, mastermind of 26/11, and other such designer labels) provided aid to minorities and spear-headed initiative to restore non-Muslim places of worship....not saying all picture is rosey; we have issues of communalism, but not on the scale as that of india where in just a matter of 2-3 days 1,000s of people get killed in religious riots - historic religious structures razed to the ground by wild mobs. Did your RSS idols and their sympathizers even APOLOGIZE to Muslims over Ayodhya? I think not!

Main takeaway here - mind your own business and dont point fingers at us when your hands are covered in blood and destruction
