90% of the 1,000 year Muslim nobility of subcontinent went to Pakistan

I am simply answering the question raised by an indian on achievments of Pakistan ... the intent was to highlight that Pakistan fought well in war on terror but on the same side India is fighting in Kashmir since past 70 years but with little to no success ... the intention was not to highlight india's failure but to highlight Pakistan's ckmparative achievement ... in any case reality will remain relaity you like it or not ...

LOL.

I am sorry but also amused to find that we seem to be looking at what I was pointing out from such totally divergent points of view. You seem to have missed the point.

It was not your opinion or your assessment under discussion; it would be cavalier to dismiss it out of hand without a reasoned explanation, and you would be most justified in questioning such a response.

It was your facts, an essential part of your build-up to your argument, that was pointed to.

Please review your statement that India had placed a number of soldiers equal to the entire Pakistan Army in Kashmir. As you will see from the very lucid observations by very respected members of the forum, Signalian and Gryphon, there is a fair match between the Pakistan Army and the Indian Army from the north of Jammu (on the Indian side) until Siachen, and this sector, on the Pakistani side, hardly contains the entire strength of the Pakistan Army. In other words, a relatively small part of the Indian Army is deployed in the Valley of Kashmir, and equally small parts to the north and to the south.

Please assess the numbers for yourself, or ask a knowledgeable and trusted fellow member to interpret them for you.

Your original argument is not affected by this correction. Responding to that is a different matter that I have not tried to deal with over here.
