73 killed as Maoists ambush CRPF team

I didn't talk about the development.... go through my post again....
And I condemn the killings.... again go though my previous post...
In these parts Rich are very rich, and poor are very poor....... that is the main reason the naxalites are getting the support...

Thats what I said, 'unequal distribution of wealth'!!! Everything related to this have to be done but without gun nothing is possible. First they have to taste the force of Indian public and than there can be any 'equal distribution of wealth', development or whatever may be. Killing so many police is a serious crime against India, its a massacre. They need to be punished.

Talk about a total breakdown in procedures........this is similar to the kidnapping of a hundred Pakistani soldiers, and when investigated, it was found that procedures were just not followed.....PA has never repeated that fiasco again, as will the Indian Army, I doubt they will make this make twice.

It was quite straight forward to assume that any route back to camp, (a) do not use the same route back to camp which is most obvious (b) if this route is to be used then a scout is used, either a sniper who has stalked the ground before the convoy passage, (this is highly unlikely as they are not on hostile ground), or a front scout on a motorbike, quad or even a bluddy chopper to scan the area before hand.

Quite clearly, when you are passing through a valley, this is a hotbed for an ambush, you do not need to be a military tactical expert to know that, as unfortunately the soldiers walked into the enemy "kill zone". Once you have entered the k.z. you are not going to come out alive, that is an unfortunate reality.

Head will clearly role for this blunder and procedures will be definately be followed in future, only down side is, it cost 70 soldiers for the Indian Army to buck up.

Using the air force and the army against its own people? Bloody fascists. It is an unfortunate incident, all forms of violence need to be condemned. But its not like the GOI didnt ask for it. Why is it using paramilitary forces against the tribals? So that the tribals are forced to leave their lands and the mining companies like Vedanta move in? Is that why Chidambaram - a former board member in Vedanta's India subsidiary - keeps talking about the Maoists?

What the GOI is doing is illegal. The Tribals are protected by the 5th schedule of the constitution. The GOI can't sign agreements that forces tribals being usurped from their lands. Operation Greenhunt is nothing more an attempt to allow capitalists living in foreign nations to exploit our resources. So that people like Chidmabaram can have a comfortable retirement. If we are really patriots we need to wake up and oppose the governments actions. Stop the war against its own people and start peace talks now. Oppose operation greenhunt.

PS- i await with great anticipation the reply of people brainwashed by the media who will not like what i have had to so. Bring it on.

The maoists have been active since the 60s. Stop talking like an ignorant fool.

So what ? Go on rampage and massacre whole CRPF battalion? Would that achieve anything? Would that make them look like saints ? Can they beat GoI like this ? There are courts of law and protests in democratic system for one to have justice.

First govt. should have stronghold in that area to develop it. They can't live in oblivion, disconnected from rest of the world like taliban.

And why not mine that area. China has displaced whole fking villages for development or mining and there is no one that can do sh1t about it. So should we also treat them with iron fist ?

Look at your population, more than current resources can support. Govt has to get new mining and natural resources so that inflation don't hit the fan. Those lands belong to Indians, if it possesses coal or copper, tribes have to relocate. OR stop humping. These lands aren't jageers of their b@aps , got it?

My friend, have you ever been in a combat situation....take it from me, for 70 CRPF to have been killed their must have been at least, at least 100 Naxals. That is at least.

Each magazine holds 30 rounds/bullets. An automatic rifle can empty this load in about 5 seconds. That is 3000 bullets hitting you in 5 seconds, every 5 seconds. Believe me, by the time you have realised you have entered a kill zone and are ambushed, and get out of your trucks, your dead.

No, 30,000 Indian soldiers moved from Kashmir valley to the Moaists stronghold to go on picnic right.......

I think it gets one to know one! I talked about the turmoil happening at present! Your Marxist dementia runs high!

You can take ur sickle and hammer and bang ur reatarded head with it! I care less!

As per ur poor marxist theory, soon the GOI has to send Army or Lose Delhi to another China sponsored movement Just as North Korea!

Communisim/Socialism/Marxism/Maoism is such a curse on any society!

There were appr 1000 Naxals attacked 80 CRPF personals in the dense jungle! They were unprepared at that time. I am surprised about intelligent failures!!!

Bro, some of your point is valid but Maoist are no saint either.

I'm not supporting the Maoists. Of course they are not saints. But operation Greenhunt and the like allows them to garner support amongst the tribals.

I do not find any reason behind blowing up hospitals. Also GoI offered the rebel groups for a talk. The maoist are the ones who went against it. I am not defending the govt however I do not fully agree with you.

The maoists blow up hospitals and schools is because these places are schools only in name. No health and education infrastructure exists in these areas. They are actually CRPF camps. The maoists have not rejected the talks offer, it is the GOI which has. The GOI keeps insisting that they abjure violence before talks. Abjure violence when they are being surrounded by 70,000 troops? Which group would ever do that? It is a calculated move so that the GOi can claim higher ground. They don't actually want talks with the Maoists.

As for the media biasness, there are ample media houses in support of them. Offtopic but, I think rightist ideology is the only one which does not have media support.

Feel free to disagree with me.

Name one media house that gives the Maoists a voice? None. Why should they? The Media houses are run on advertising by corporates, the very same corporates that want the mining deals to go through. So why should any channel talk about anything less than the spectre of "Red Terror"? The only media houses that tries to be balanced is The Hindu and the magazine Frontline.

Rightwing ideology is espoused by the pathetic media house known as the Times of India and their TV channel Times Now. Also the Pioneer and India Today has BJP sympathies. Lest not forget India TV which instead of talking of news, talks of Hindu Myths and Ghosts, totally right wing crap. So you are mistaken when you say that the media doesnt give right wing ideology a fair say. I would say Right wing ideology dominates the Indian media, especially Hindi news channels.

Edit -
So what ? Go on rampage and massacre whole CRPF battalion? Would that achieve anything? Would that make them look like saints ? Can they beat GoI like this ? There are courts of law and protests in democratic system for one to have justice.

Go to the courts? LOL. And what has that ever achieved. Do you know that out of the 27 million people displaced by development projects, only 1 million have been rehabilitated? The Narmada Bachao andolan went to the courts, what happened? Nothing. Those people are still displaced living without any Government help.

First govt. should have stronghold in that area to develop it. They can't live in oblivion, disconnected from rest of the world like taliban.

Who are you to tell them how they should live? We cannot force our way of life on them. The only thing they require is more health and education institutions. Not industrial developments that results in them being forced to leave their lands.

Isnt it their land? and their consent should be a priority before kicking them out. I never found any tribes or anybody unwilling to relocate if they were adequately compensated. The mother of all probelm come from deprivation.

My 2 cents.

First get your facts right! Army is not being used against Maoists, its police and para-military forces fighting them!

Please don't give pathetic logic if, from Kashmir solders were taken out, so they were sent to these areas! Just research about India's active and reserved,Indian Army strength. We need not pull out 30,000 men!
