China has 73 companiese listed among the top 500 biggest world companies based on the Fortune Global 500. 3 Chinese companies/corporations are listed among the 10 biggest companies in the world, they are Sinopec, China National Petroleum and State Grid. In comparison India has only 8 companies listed in the world top 500 list with Indian Oil only in the 83rd position. The US has 132 companies listed in the world biggest 500 companies.

Royal Dutch Shell is number one is interesting and Exxon at two, both oil companies.

26 from the UK. Although they don't seem to have registered that Shell is part British. Giving the Dutch all the credit.

hope some day in future we have more than 200 top 500 companies.

1.India and Chinese growth story are different.

2.Chinese growth is driven by investment and state led growth. So you would have majority of 73 Fortune companies are companies under the CPC.

3. Indian economy is home demand driven economy and hence led by SME (Small-medium Enterprises) because more liberal and freedom that Indian got. That's difference .

Although no one is better than the other growth story. It's just we have different paths. Peace !

Two questions: Why do you post this in the Pakistan Economy Section?

Why bring India in?

My guess is since the Chinese ran away from Daulat Beg area, there is nothing left to cheer lead. Hence this thread..
