Well not everybody can differentiate urdu from farsi, arabic or braille. People just saw the flag and assumed him an expert in this.

Urdu is native to India and that is the fact. The language of Delhi and 9 North Indian states.

Are you kidding me ? Urdu is one of the many official languages of india.

Actually Urdu originated in UP from the pre-Islamic Khadi Boli dialect, which evolved from Sanskrit.

The languages that are native to Pakistan include Punjabi and Sindhi, which are also descendants of Sanskrit. But Urdu is not native to Pakistan.

I got to know from this forum that in Pakistani text books they are told that urdu originated from Pakistan punjab

I still remember i was listening to a very nice bollywood song on youtube and some pakistani had commented "your bollywood songs are so successful because you use our language urdu" .

When the hospice was built (700 yrs ago), Urdu was an Indian language; just as Urdu is an Indian language today!


The Arched Gateway was built then and is maintained "as is" now.

Urdu didnt exist as it does that long ago..
