Hahahahaaah :omghaha:

At least he is not running from foreign drones everyday.

Tests are meant to fail......only bought out missile doesn't fail....USA, China, Russia all have failed test before success....only Pakistan does not have failed tests.....
Because these countries along with us don't do painting jobs .

Keep convincing yourself, for when these missiles bring death and devastation, you seldom have time to question the authenticity and the bubble bursts on the tall claims of so called "Indigenous Indian" products.

A military officer, however, said, "Nirbhay still has a lot of foreign components... its turbofan, for instance, is imported. It's still five-six years away from becoming fully operational."
:haha:

As of now, the only country facing death and devastation from missiles is...guess?

First try to stop the missiles pouring on your country, before boasting about the hypothetical death and devastation that Pakistani missiles will cause in India.

Your or your country fellows repeated rants of "paint job" are enough to prove that candle is burning at both ends. !!

And that is because of some mindless Pakistanis who keep opening severl threads on the SAME test failure. Oh wait, that was you, wasn't it?

So we have to point out that failures, generating data from failures, analyzing failures and rectifying them is all part and parcel of the development cycle of any engineering system, whether it is a small computer program or something as complicated as a missile. The only people who wont understand that are the people who never made something themselves. The only missiles that never failed during the development cycle were the ones that were already pre-tested elsewhere and given a paint job. Sorry, but that's how it is. Failures are more important during development phase than successes, because only failures give opportunity for improvement.

Heck, why would we even have test launches, if there is no concept of failure?

Importing a component and painting job of DF-11 are different things.

India always mention that engine for nirbhay is from India. Even after test of Agni5 DRDO cheif said that it has 10-15% imported parts so where you found paint job in it?

NEW DELHI: The much-hyped stealth 'Nirbhay' cruise missile, in the making for at least seven years now, failed in its maiden test on Tuesday. The over 1,000-km range missile, which can carry nuclear warheads, in fact, had to be destroyed in mid-air after it deviated from its flight path along the coast in Bay of Bengal.

Which Anti Cruise Missile was used to destroy this beast.

Yes like claiming BRAHMOS missile so called A-Z Indian art... and still failing in Nirbhay!

First acquire some ability to comprehend the topic at hand.....even the article mentions that this weapon was meant as an answer to Babur cruise missile..... but hey, any port in a storm. !! :cheesy:

India is not new to cruise missile tech, Brahmos already has indigenous guidence systems. I don't think it is a serious problem when it comes to Cruise missile development.

None. It had a remote controlled self destruct mechanism, like all missiles do during testing. That is, as soon as it veered off the intended path after about 300 kms, the scientists gave it the command to self destruct and fall safely into the sea, to prevent any unpredictable behavior.

Such provisions are always built into missiles while they are being tested.
