7 Naxals killed in encounter inGadchiroli

Seven Naxals were killed in an
encounter with the police in
Bhamragad division of
Gadchiroli district on Thursday
morning. According to the office of
Additional Superintendent of
Police (SP), Aheri division,
police have recovered four
bodies and said that three
more Naxals may have been killed in the encounter. Police claimed that the
number of Naxals killed could
be much more. The encounter took place near
Bhatpar village near
Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh
border, according to police
sources, but exact location of
the encounter could not be ascertained.
