7 Lessons Every Prime Minister Should Learn From Gen. Raheel Sharif

I respect this guy because of the position he holds. But nothing more.

Chapter 2 of PART XII of the Constitution of Pakistan defines the purpose of the Army along with the other parts of the Armed Forces as:

“The Armed Forces shall, under the directions of the Federal Government, defend Pakistan against external aggression or threat of war, and, subject to law, act in aid of civil power when called upon to do so."

They are just the security guards and this guy is just head of security, nothing more....And that's what the constitution clearly says.

Are you going to lick the constitution if the country is broken apart? Constitution is not above the integrity of the country.

A constitution is what makes a country. It's the very foundation of a country. No constitution, no country.

.
All that constitution thingy is rubbish and its no surprising that rather political claim coming from non resident pakistani members who even dont have much of a value in their adopted homeland either with such an attitude.

Constitution or all gibberish can go to hell, what matters is what is in the best of interests of Pakistan only, rest will just come.

Also note the key phrase "against external aggression or threat of war" that lays bare the farce of protecting the imagined "internal" or "ideological" boundaries that are often used as excuses to illegally meddle in the internal affairs of the country.

HI,

Not as illegal imagined wars of Iraq and Afghanistan

. .
Of course. USA has had many Marital Laws declared and trampled over its Constitution, just like in Pakistan, right? Oh wait, it is not true, is it?
Hi,
Oh yeah, it hasn't. But oh well. Countries destroyed, generations spoilt, Societies erupted. Who cares its not America!

Typical American attitude !

So is this thread about what lessons USA can learn from the good General or is it about Pakistan?

. .
Hi,

This thread was about recalling the qualities of general, not to spoil it by usual old unnecessary bashing

The thread was about lessons Pakistan can learn from him, and the best one he can teach is the supremacy of the Constitution and the Rule of Law. Seriously. There is no bashing here, but the correct lesson.

Hi,

Not as much as you and your rants about Army, while shamelessly defending what US does.

How many personnel were deployed to clear the area and ensure his security for that photo op?

Totally Unnecessary post

Again, You will never leave a single opportunity to.. Well we al know better
