6 more dead in Balochistan
QUETTA - Two bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons were recovered from Kech district of Balochistan on Thursday. Four more people killed in landmine blast and firing incident.
Levies officials said, local people spotted bodies lying at Turbat-Pasni Road of Murghab area, some 10km away from Turbat town and informed them.
Levies personnel rushed to the site and moved the bodies to hospital for autopsy where they were identified as Arafat s/o Ibrahim and Kareem Jan s/o Muhammad Hassan, they added. Both bodies were having bullet wounds in their chests, torture marks and their faces were badly disfigured that showed that the victims were brutally tortured before the killing, hospital sources said. Levies personnel after completing legal formalities handed over bodies to heirs.
Sources said, Kareem Jan resident of Tump was abducted allegedly by the intelligence agencies on night of August 7th, 2011 while he was travelling from Aasiabad to Pullabad on his motorbike. While, Arafat, resident of Mand was picked up allegedly by personnel of Frontier Corps on September 28th, last month near Shadi Kaur area while travelling to Quetta from Turbat.
A complete shutter-down was observed in Tump and Mand towns of Kech district against the killing of Baloch youth.
Meanwhile, four people were killed and one wounded in two separate incidents of landmine blast and firing in Dera Bugti and Jaffarabad.
Two people were killed and another wounded in Pelaugh area of Dera Bugti when their motorbike rolled on a landmine which exploded with huge explosion. Law enforcement agencies rushed to the site after the blast and cordoned off the area.
In another incident, two people were killed in Dera Allayar area of Jaffarabad district. Four unidentified armed men riding two motorbikes opened indiscriminate fire on Zakir Hussain and Ghulam Rasool near Khanghar and fled the scene.
As a result, they sustained serious wounds and were rushed to nearby hospital for medical aid. However, due to their critical condition doctors referred them to Larakana for further treatment where they succumbed to their injuries. The deceased belonged to Magsi tribe and motive behind murder was yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, explosion of a toy bomb in Zawa area of Khuzdar district serious wounded 12-year-old Azeem, who was carried to a local hospital for treatment.
