May be the ones which were recovered can help? A proper investigation will first reveal if all these kidnappings are act of one larger network or are these isolated event? Anyway, recovering 189 of the 208 missing children in few days is a great effort and achievement of concerned authorities and should be praised. I hope the still missing ones are also found and that someone thinks about that and can investigate if this is all being done by a group or two or whatever the details are so proper action can be taken accordingly.

Which case you are talking about ? That happened in g9 sector? i know of a same case happened in g9 sector 4 to 5 months back. Child's posters were all over g9 n g10. That child was missing for almost a week n after that parents found their child in pieces.

The government feels threatened and is annoyed if your cricket teams performs an army drill after a match so lets leave that helping IB and FIA thing. Furthermore, if the news you shared is to be believed then it says that around 189 kids have been recovered, that is mighty impressive of the law enforcement agencies, credit where it is due! Lets have some faith in them. It is there responsibility and let them do there job.

I just hope that the concerned authorities can figure out the story behind these kidnapping. Frankly, to me this do not looks like act of one group and are more like isolated events. In that case, most of those 208 incidents would be not be even kidnappings. Family feuds or kids out playing or missing and the parents panic will be the case with most of these 208 kids.

Worst memory of my life when I volunteered myself and saw this happening throughout many 'NGO' camps. Within three days my inner-self was butchered and I couldn't take it anymore. It was qiyamat-e-sughra, no one was paying attention. We were told to just do our jobs and keep our mouths shut. And your whole argument is revolving around hypothetical scenarios. Firstly are any of the kids mentioned in the OP were forcefully abducted in front of their parents? Even if such kidnappings do happen they would be very rare and fall in the 1% category as i had already mentioned. Letting children wander out on streets alone depends on area and their ages, I have given you an example where a 4 year old was alone right outside his house in Islamabad..............and instead of answering that you chose to throw my way your supposed scenarios. In most of these cases parents are responsible and they should own up to their failures, not that it matters but others need to draw lessons. I my self have lived in Army Cantts(and by these i don't mean crap cantts like Lahore and Rawalpindi) all my life and they are way more secure than any other modern day civil housing society and even there parents have to keep track of their children because this is what parents are supposed to do.

Exactly, people are very careless these days they let children go out on their own. Even if its not the kidnappers their general security is still at stake......What if there is some wild animal around, when i was little i stepped on a snake because i didn't realize what it could do and i was also bare footed.

It's such a sad that there is no response from Punjab Government over this, what happened to Showbaz Sharif. I can only hope Gen Raheel Sharif takes notice of this, and tracks down the perpetrators and castrates them in the public.

Army needs to send a strong message to Punjab and Sindh Government and can get Police reforms done started from recruiting lot more Police Force also making one force not several forces. Finally developing forensic labs and cyber wings with Special Branch and IB and FIA and also developing SWAT force and other stuff
