42% people in Pakistan don't have access to basic sanitation . 42% is still a huge number and with that i wont feel proud enough to mock poor people who are just 12% higher than me .

there is a difference of ppl not access of toilet and not having toilet at all. Those who dont have access either working on the field where they have large distance back home but for indian majority dont build toilet think how sick is that and just wow at your thinking there are 6 countries in the list and you are here be on no 1 created a thread only a shamesless can do this.

And people think of this simple question. If Indian GDP per capita is higher than Pakistan how do they explain this disparity in sanitation? Does this mean a average Indian is better off then his Pakistani counterpart? But then this means he pefers to keep his Rupees in bank and but the shameless basket sends his wife/daughter to go outside to poop? What does that say about his mentality? If he did not have money it might be understandble but going by Indians own brag about their economy they need to explain this enigma?

(i) Either Indian head of the household is such a tight basket that he keeps his extra Rupees hidden away while he sends his wife to poop in the street. Not prepared to pay for toilet.
(ii) Or maybe the GDP figures are not quite the reality and your typical Indian household has less money then his Pakistani counterpart thus the disparity. Thus he has no money for toilet.


It has to be either (i) or (ii) and Indians need to tell us which one is it?

India has been mocked at and has been butt of jokes as vast majority of it's population , nearly 56% , don't have access to sanitation. And ironically she is made fun of routinely by none other than Pakistanis and Bangladeshi on this forum and other social media sites e,g Twitter and Facebook . I said ironically , since vast majority of population , 42% people in Pakistan and 53% people in Bangladesh also don't have access to sanitation . So instead of making fun of poor people living in India , other poor countries such as Pakistan , Bangladesh and even China where 25% population and 2nd in absolute numbers ,lack access to sanitation , empathize with those poor people living in India who lack sanitation at home and have to relieve themselves in public places.

In India , Sanitation has crossed 64%. Now the peoplw who does not have sanitation are just 34%. By 2019, it will be in single digit. Modi government is doing a great job.

Technically 100% of people in India have access to a toilet. Because India is the world's biggest toilet.

Some Indian should come to Pakistan and show me human feces lying around on the streets, beaches or in public parks, something that is a common sight in India.

In Pakistan or any muslim country we have mosques on every street, every mosque must have a shower and toilet, mosques are open 24 hours.
