My dad used to smoke cigars (a habit he picked in the army) but in my early teens I was in depression I pulled off a stunt after which he stopped smoking. Seriously, stop smoking.

My father quit for a whole 10 damn years ... And than he started it again... Occasional cigar > you can guess the rest.

Never been a Cuban type. Old tradition coming from the boots. I dont like to talk like a tobacco distributor but I started with Marlboro, still Marlboro mate. It's not the cigar but the alcohol kills me since I can't drink during this month.



I see. I started smoking in the military too. Old navy saying, "a pack of Marlboro can break the ocean waves". It depends from person to person I believe.

and i have been politically active off and on, transnationally.

in that company i mentioned earlier, there were some rather pretty ones who i thought were impressed with me... plus there was one lady i became obsessed with and wanted to impress her the most... i am still obsessed with her at long distance and lot of what i do now is for her.

now is all work and plotting... i am joining one of india's communist movements ( they broke-up in the 60's )... one can achieve or obtain a lot if one becomes politically more engaged with progressive groups in general but socialist groups in particular.

No, when I was 13 I was in depression (complicated reasons my dad smoking was 1 of them) , I cut myself in the shower thrice, last cut went too deep punctured a blood vessel my dad heard my screams told me to open the door, but me being depressed and all self harmy I didn't, by the time my dad broke open the door and took me to the hospital I had passed out because of "blood loss and fatigue" when I woke up, (really fast forward skipping the personal questions the doctor asked me) I told my dad about the smoking habit and in short he quit. Win for all yaaaaay.
