My dad used to smoke cigars (a habit he picked in the army) but in my early teens I was in depression I pulled off a stunt after which he stopped smoking. Seriously, stop smoking.

I love to smoke a Cuban Cigar because its a great way to end your evening after a long day at work.

Never been a Cuban type. Old tradition coming from the boots. I dont like to talk like a tobacco distributor but I started with Marlboro, still Marlboro mate. It's not the cigar but the alcohol kills me since I can't drink during this month.

I see. I started smoking in the military too. Old navy saying, "a pack of Marlboro can break the ocean waves". It depends from person to person I believe.

However in general most individuals who smoke Cigars on a regular basis tend to stick with one brand, because the aroma and taste suits their pallet.

Do you normally drink Turkish alcohol or Foreign Brands? Well you can always order Non-Alcoholic Beers

Well I agree, in military a pack of quality cigars amazingly helps you not by consuming it only but in many circumstances. You can give it to privates at guard company if you want to desert that day to hang out with mates. But yeah that's just one example . There used to be one that belonged to Turkish Armed Forces named "Soldier". It was contributed to military personnel only including conscripted personnel and it was free. Also there was a secondary brand called "Subay" meaning Officer. Obviously it was distributed to the officers only, it was said to be the best and it was free as well. At 1974, in memorial of Operation Atilla (Cyprus) another military cigar brand was created by TAF named "Armed Forces. While Subay was nearly impossible to get since it was for officers only the other brands were on public, people started giving money to soldiers to get them military cigars. At 2004 relevant authorities stopped production due to complains of Philip Morris stating that they were loosing too much money. Old good days

Personally I have no desire to drink alcoholic beverages, however since I am a good Samaritan who wishes to see his Turkish Brother happy, then please drink the scotch Murree Brewery because it would go fantastic with your Cigar. During the British Raj the Punjab Regiment which had a cantonment in Rawalpindi use to love drinking this beverage in the summer.

Haha From your message I can guess the assumption that bribing a private at the guard company was practiced by you quite often and the results were fantastic for you, because you could desert temporarily to meet friends or a late night rendezvous with a female colleague What were the consequences, if you were caught in the act of deserting?

How long were you in the Military? I guess these brands of Cigars commanded a premium price because the quantity, supply and luxury items were limited to the general public. They should have given Phillip Morris the middle finger, because the relevant authorities have destroyed a rich traditional heritage of the Turkish Armed Force that was unique to its institution.

Unfortunately yes they did. I was an officer cadet. During my time it was already out of production. But there are rumors that some seniors have a few and hide it for "a good day to smoke"
