40th year anniversary ''1974 Cyprus Peace Operation'' (Photos)

[Rumelia]

Cyprus peace operation launched on 20 July 1974 was a Turkish operation in Cyprus in response to the 1974 Greek-Cypriot coup détat (Enosis) by Greece to Hellenize the island. The Turkish codename of the operation was Operation Atilla.
