Let us accept that we have a serious problem in our hand... What worries me, how casual are we on this... Was listening in radio, and one idiot was attributing dressing of women for rape... I felt like banging him with my car if i could find him.... 2 Days back we had a MP who wanted to send his supporters to rape the women of opposite party...... We have a ex CM of a state who says Boys will be Boys.... as if rape is justified.....

People blame Clothing, Bollywood, Pub cultrue for rape.... I wonder how one relates this with a rape of a 3 year old kid or a 60 year old lady.....I guess the problem is in our brain

But lets face it it will happen like all other crimes and in a country of 1.25 billion there will always some bad apples. So lets be rational about it rather than emotional. Brazil also has sexual exploitation problem..but is Brazil known for its colourful carnivals and football or rape?

Al Jazeera did a report on Egypt and Tunisia where the rate of rape and sexual harassment is high.

The Men there quoted clothing for it.

It's like Indian Men somehow think this is till 19th century, where they don't have consequences for what they do.

Even if people witness Harassment they still pretend like nothing happened. Which only encourages these people.

I think the difference is Indians are woeful in tackling the problem.

Look at our judiciary.... They take years to convict.....and then few more years to consider the appeal.... If the convict is rich, then few more years to supreme court..... so a minimum of 10 years and maximum of infinity......

No we cannot. We can control the crime, but we cannot eliminate in anyway.
About Brazil, I just gave an example. Are you not ware the impact this daily 'rape show' has on tourism industry in India. Millions live by this industry. So I am just saying that pls be reasonable rather than emotional.

We cannot put the entire blame on judiciary. Considering the size of the country, India has less courts and judges.
