LTV holders are allowed free movement within the state where they live and can transfer the same documents from one state to another.

Another 1,500 applications from Pakistani nationals for LTVs are under the home ministry’s consideration.
New Delhi: As many as 30,000 Pakistani nationals, a majority of them Hindus, have been given Long-Time Visas (LTVs) from 2011, following which they can now get both PAN and Aadhaar cards. Home ministry officials said they can now buy property in India as well.

This year alone, 6,092 Pakistani nationals have so far been granted LTVs, that is part of the Centre’s plan to give relief to minority communities from nations like Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh who have shifted to India because of alleged persecution back home. Officials said 14,726 Pakistani citizens were given LTVs between 2011 and 2014. Once the system went online, 2,142 Pakistani nationals were given LTVs in 2015 and as many as 2,298 in 2016 and 4,712 in 2017.

Under the MHA’s policy, minority communities from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, which includes Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians, who have been living in India on LTVs, can buy a small house that is adequate for a family for self-use as well as suitable accommodation to carry out self-employment. But such visa holders can’t buy immovable property in and around restricted or protected areas, which includes cantonments. They can obtain PAN and Aadhaar cards as well as driving licences. They can also take up self-employment or do small businesses.

Pakistan should have very very strict rules....
Never to accept them back.
Those who leave in bad times must never come back in good time.
Everyone went in India thinking there are free goldmines everywhere but they must now see what deplorable conditions they are living in.
The May get some popularity, sympathy or charity by bashing Pakistan but India can never be their home.
Good luck and never come back. Why don't India give them permanent residentship

It's a welcome step.

It's sad to see that the condition of minorities has gone bad to worst in Pakistan. That's the only possible explanation why so many non-Muslims are finding refuge in India.

I'm glad that this hasn't happened with India's minority. As far as I know, no Indian Muslim has gone to Pakistan as a refugee due to opression. It's something we all should appreciate.

There should be provisions for Pakistanis for long term Indian VISA in lieu of Investment in Indian economy which can produce direct jobs.

.
Govt of Pakistan should ban this or strip them of their citizenship...We cannot allow them to have these two at the same time.

These are people who went to land of honey decades ago, good for them that they are now allowed to buy home.

yeah but it shouldn't be allowed. If they want to keep their lands of LTVs, they should shun their Pakistani citizenship.

They have little to no money. They are poor people. They have left their home because they're persecuted economically, religiously and socially. If we talk about Pak Hindus, they are demonised even in Pakistan's school text books! Obviously no one would like such a treatment and can't possibly live in such a hostile environment.

Moving to India seems to be their only option , sadly.

I find it strange that despite the alleged " hardships & persecution" Muslims face in India as posters here make it out to be, virtually no one seems to want to cross over !

why only 30K? pls take all those sh!tty people from Pakistan who are confused and traitors......but remember Pakistan will not allow millions of Indian minorities who are desperate to leave India to save their life from Hindu extremists ruling India.

BTW i still doubt the number as none from Pakistan have verified it.....indians on daily basis fart this kinda news in their idiotic fairy tales

only this Sh!tty asian age know it hahhaa all the world is silent on it as 30K is a big num even if one person killed in Pakistan the whole world go buzz about it and for 30K every one is silent except this asian age:lol::enjoy:
