At 01:56, Yu-7 torpedoes was fired from the frigate. Normal torpedoes is hardly seen firing as it is one of the most-guarded secret weapons for any Navy.

This massive Naval exercise is not good enough, it should have coordinated with Chinese second core artilleries and try to sink few obsolete cargo or warships with DF-21D, together with our naval and air missiles attack to experiment the multi-level, multi-platform attacks..

I didn't say U.S-China War in SCS, the potential war prepare for other ... of course if U.S Navy attack China ship/ aircraft / island first, China will response ... such response not only in SCS i do think also will at Taiwan Strait.

These PLAN 100+ warships and many PLAAF fighters/bombers drill in SCS, BeiJing just wanna tell the foreign "China not afraid War" ... i believe say less and do more, if put 30x type052D DDGs and 30x type09IIIB nuclear attack subs in there, nobody willing disturb China.
