And you look up who actually won the 1965 war, it might sting a little.
They were all Muslim, and that's all that matters. They didn't fight for their ethnicity, they fought in the name of Islam and considered themselves Muslims first and foremost.
Also, you're still wrong. Mahmud Ghaznavi and Muhammad Ghauri were born in Khorasan, which was a geographical area at the time that included most of Pakistan. Lahore was also the 2nd largest city that both these Sultans ruled over, and their military's and administration's each consisted of large numbers of people from Pakistan (mostly Pashtuns, Baluchis and Punjabis). Muhammad Ghauri was also a Pashtun (2nd largest ethnic group in Pakistan, in fact, Pakistan has the largest number of Pashtuns in the world).
Aurangzeb Alamgir was from the Indian sub-continent, a geographical area that includes large portions of Pakistan. He was also from the Indus plains, which includes all of Pakistan (as well as large portions of north-west Hindustan). Again, many people from Pakistan fought in his military and worked in his administration, and Lahore was one of his largest cities (he decorated it with numerous monuments, in fact, Lahore has more Mughal monuments than any city in Hindustan). He also spoke Urdu, ate Mughlai cuisine (as do modern day Pakistanis), wore Shalwar Kameez, etc. In fact, my fathers town (Sarai Alamgir) was founded by Aurangzeb Alamgir.
Ahmed Shah Durrani was another Pashtun who's army consisted of many Baluchis and Pashtuns from Pakistan, Peshawar was also one of his largest cities. His tribe (the Durranis) are also a major tribe in Pakistan, and Ahmed Shah Durrani himself was born in Multan.
Sikander Shah Mir was a Kashmiri Gujjar (however, his family did originally migrate from Swat valley) who ruled over all of the Kashmir region and some other nearby territories in northern Hindustan and Pakistan. He earned the title of "butshikan" because he used to destroy every Hindu idol he saw (perfectly justified because he was at war with them, and they would have done even worse things to him if they were able to).
Mir Chakar Rind was a Baluchi who ruled over southern Pakistan, and he once sent his military to go and sack Delhi.
Sikander Lodi was ethnically mixed, with a Pashtun father and a Punjabi mother. He ruled over eastern Pakistan and large portions of northern Hindustan.
Hyder Ali's father was Punjabi, and he overthrew the ruling dynasty of southern Hindustan, replacing it with a Muslim one that battered the British colonialists and the Maratha's simultaneously. His son Tipu Sultan succeeded him, continuing to fight bravely against both forces (unfortunately, he was less successful but he died fighting like a lion).
Also, Muslims across Hindustan and Pakistan have been proven to be descended from the Islamic invaders:
