3 foreign fighter jets violate Pak airspace

. . .
Don't the Americans already have air space rights? Hmmm must watch this development.

. .
In my view at the moment the point of considertion is how did Geo come to know about such violation, while govt has not yet confirm (as Geo report says)? Does Geo has such facility which can indentify exactly???...as I am not worng, such matters can not access with out having proper Radar system, which can only be able to read the certain plane identity!!!

may be our nato friends these days no one trust any of our so called friends

The media no doubt has journalists embedded in the military not to mention paying for a bit of news is common, nothing wrong with it unless the information turns out to be false or doctored.

PAF is being forced to keep watch on both borders. PAF shall have to keep an even sharper eye on the Afghan border. You don't want to end up in a sitution where youy are slapped on your exposed side of the ear.

.
this news is not true. has been negated by PAF. there was no such violation

.
its coz of our geo tv and their desire to be the first one in tellin any news. so they never get things confirmed

.
Perhaps in next few days we will witness a mad rush by media to dig out and report any incursion even though if it never happened…. An unnecessary hype, false coverage and dodgy headlines will be in abundance…Probably a scheduled Qatar Airways flight from Doha will be reported too…:tsk:

Better use your own judgment …:pop:

No airspace violation occurred on Pak-Afghan border
Updated at: 1510 PST, Monday, December 15, 2008
ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of Pakistan Air force on Monday clarified that there had been no violation of the country’s airspace over Pak-Afghan border as reported by various news channels.

Referring to news reports indicating that some foreign jet fighters violated airspace of Pakistan and intruded into Chaman Pak-Afghan bordering town thrice, Director Public Relations PAF Air Commodore Humayun Viqar said that there was no violation of the airspace.

He clarified that the Nato aircraft were on routine and planned authorised flights in the area, so there was no question of any intrusion or violation of the country’s airspace.
