The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has severely criticised India’s home-made Akash air defence missile system. It stated that the missile systems ordered by the Indian Air Force to counter China is “deficient in quality” and has a 30% failure rate, which posed an “operational risk during hostilities”.

The CAG, in a report on the Indian Air Force (IAF) released on Friday, also stated that six squadrons of the missile system were to be deployed at six locations of an unidentified ‘S’ sector between 2013 and 2015, but this has not been done. This delay has happened even though `4,000 crore has already been spent for building the infrastructure for installing the systems.

Although the report does not identify the strategic missile manufactured by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), but has provided its specifications as a medium range, surface to air missile. These are the exact features of the Akash missile system.

According to the report, the Defence Ministry in December 2010 concluded a contract with BEL for the delivery of six squadrons of the Akash missile systems for `3,619.25 crore. The squadrons were to be located at six IAF stations in ‘S’ sector. Although the location of the sector has not been given in the report, the missile systems are to be deployed in the North East and Ladakh. A CAG audit found that the missile systems delivered by BEL were deficient in quality. “Out of 80 missiles received up to November 2014, 20 missiles were test fired. Six of these missiles, which is 30 per cent, failed the test,” says the report.

PAF never did anything spectacular that was claimed by you. You think your government that said you were winning after the 1971 loss will have problems cooking up PAF propaganda? The fact is you're using propaganda material to show how IAF was 'outclassed'. Hell even you're stories are frigging lame. According to the one you showed:

Landing in a field is one of the most dangerous and risky things to do, something a pilot would do only under extreme circumstances, most probably a damaged engine, he must have been rapidly losing altitude too unable to eject/ look for prepared grounds.

The Pakistani books are now highly suspect. Nobody refers them usually for strategic studies except for a few greats like Amin etc.

The landing may have been a mistake. Indian troops hav a habit of overrunning Pakistani airfields. They look similar too. Hence the mistake perhaps.

Indian culture makes it ok to to scam what they perceive as weak people. This is why they have a large IT scamming industry that targets old technologically incapable people in the west. Arkadashim, they don't lack in talent or efforts, they lack in Bereket!!! As for the Ehl-i Iman, a single act of Hosh Amel, done with Iman and Ihlas, has a thousand Bereket in it!!!! It was a do-or-die situation. And, it worked so well that the Turkish forces could take almost half of the island without any resolute resistance. Had it not been the US/NATO pressure, they could have taken the whole island if 6 more hours of ops were permitted!!!! I think Pak is also full of such recent examples!!!!

Yup Pakistanis still fighting hard and strong in East Pakistan. Complete victory is just around the corner because of "bereket"! The 1 week war is fake news just like all those pics of the fake "largest since WW2" surrender. The do or die attitude has led to Pakistan not splintering at all from original territory and population inherited from partition in modern era.
