27th September- Super moon lunar eclipse!!!

That's early morning (4:15am-4:45am- UAE).

For UAE it would begin at 4:11 am and would be at peak at 6:06 am.
Also UAE would get to a very decent eclipse, almost the entire Moon would be covered in Umbra region. If possible wake up at 5:30 and view the eclipse from a flat area or top of some tall building. The moon would be pretty low at that time.

even my friends told me that the moon is like near and brighter ... oh but not red.. here is the picture taken from a small camera..

The red moon will appear at 3:11 Am here in Qatar. I'm waking up all night to see this.

The ones living in US and South America will have the best view.

All set to to capture the eclipse if the skies remain clear. Just took a few good shots of the super moon itself.

Edit: And unfortunately, clouds have just moved in.

So i see the moon now...ok it is kind of red..but its is rather small..not so thrilling.

I see similar to this. that faint red blotch.

So here is my shot of the super moon when the skies were clear:

And this is my shot of the eclipse more than half way through, with clouds ruining the clarity. By the time the full eclipse happened, it was even worse.

Yeah diamond ring.
The moon must have been either getting eclipsed or coming out of the eclipse when this shot was been taken.

The brightest object in the sky is supposed to be Venus. But is it so close to moon?
