Alot of BD folks listen to Pakistani Music and Watch Our Serials . Their own entertainment industry is mediocre and pretty much non existent.
Their obsession is very intense

It’s cute you guys have to keep returning to 71 and repeating a victory four decades back. They should have fought on! How could they outgunned to the core and with defectors handing over every military secret as possible?
You carry on living 40 years ago, we live in the present and just kicked your “brothers” backsides in a straight forward 1-1 military fight.
It must hurt seeing them getting beat up, what happened to the 71 pride and victory? Maybe you guys should help them again lol.
Its funny how he lives in Japan and is attacking me for living in "Christian" Canada.

This is the first time I have seen Evil Punjabiz evolve into evil Pukhtoons. Next it will be vile Baloch, conniving Kashmiriz, and nefarious Sindhiz.

Anything to keep the disinformation and groupthink moving forward.

They still idolize Pakistanis. My Bangladeshi friend told me that the phrase “You look Pakistani” means that you look beautiful in Bangladesh.

They are still stuck in an envious inferiority complex, which makes some of them lash out at us.

They should be proud about how they are and how they look, Allah swt made everyone the way He wished.

Listen, vast majority of Pakistani are sympathetic to Bengali people.
But when you people keep harping on 71 and calling us nonsense, all you do is alienate people like me.

Remember, 1.5 million Bangladeshi died in 74.
Yet not a single post on PDF about it.
To us that means that your people's death are only important to you when you can get political millage.
You don't actually care about the deaths.

.
We have much better cities , better universities , Better Infrastructure , Higher PPP per capita , Bigger Middle Class , Much more freedom than one Party North Korea like situation found in BD , Better Defence , Less Corrupt and What Not . Pakistan is ranked 67 on Happiness Index while BD is somewhere at the Bottom .

We are Making Fighter Jets now. What are you making ? T-shirts ?
Looking at your economy not a good idea to taunt a better positioned Bangladesh

Great sympathetic people like you can join the events at the Bangladesh embassy in Pakistan and share their grief

Pakistan has lost in 71 because of distance, nothing else.

BD has got its independence because of India, nothing else.

Lastly, Pakistan wanted to conclude the war after a certain time because of loss and distance.

No country can get independence in short time if it has to fight with neighbor.

Pakistani politicians made blunder. I wonder why they failed to keep East Pakistan when Hasina can do it and keep its people under pressure.

Look Hasina has gone easily with two illegal elections in 2014 and 2018, but West Pakistan could not control the situation after 1970 election. It is because:

1. We are ideologically more divided now than 71, we hate each other, so we cannot resist illegal government and election.

.
Why here are so many Bangla threads most of Pakistanis don't even know Bangla was once part of Pakistan

Bangladesh was supposed to be a separate country in 1947 including West Bengal, Assam & Tripura but our politicians in 1947 failed to do it and we were left with only East Bengal and Sylhet district of Assam as a province of Pakistan.

Bangladeshis developed ill feeling of Pakistan because of genocide conducted by your army against Bangladeshis. If it was not such mass killing and rape (I know you will deny) there won't be a nation full of hatred for Pakistan. Either our people don't care about Pakistan or even if discuss then there is a negative image of Pakistan in discussions.

India is not just another neighbor for Bangladesh. Bangladeshis and Indians ( West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, North East) are very similar people with similar culture. So India is always relevant in Bangladesh but Pakistan is only relevant during national days when we discuss our independence struggle and most Bangladeshi people take Pakistan's name with hate and disgust during these national days.

Here anyone hardly ever thinks about Bangladesh and have no idea where it is situated or once it was east Pakistan it was a good thing your country become independent in 1971

Bangladeshis are different people from Pakistanis apart from some Sylheti background people. Pakistan is in West and Bangladesh is in East. So obviously two separate pieces are already different from each other and irrelevant. We discuss about Pakistan when it comes to our independence struggle otherwise we are not even 1% interested what happens in Pakistan. Hardly any Bangladeshi even visits Pakistan and vise versa. With India its different story. Almost everything in Bangladesh is influenced by India because Bangladesh is almost India locked country.

Let us try to be a bit more objective here.

1. Pakistan does NOT make fighter jets - The JF-17 radar is Chinese, missiles are Chinese and engines are Russian. Most of the rest of the avionics are Chinese. The whole plane is pretty much a Chinese design. Yes, Pakistan has some input for sure but to call it a Pakistani jet is absurd. It is a bit more than final assembly but let us be realistic here.

2. Yes Pakistan is ahead in cities, infrastructure and higher per capita than BD but how long will this last? BD is coming from a low base where it subsidised Pakistan pretty heavily during 1947-1971 and that is a major reason why you are ahead in some areas.

BD is growing it's per capita at 7% a year and Pakistan is set for 2% or less according to your own central bank.
That is a difference of 5% per capita growth. Just look below at how quickly BD is catching up per capita with Pakistan:

https://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/weo/2018/02/weodata/weorept.aspx?sy=2010&ey=2019&scsm=1&ssd=1&sort=country&ds=.&br=1&pr1.x=47&pr1.y=15&c=513,564&s=PPPPC&grp=0&a=

As you can see, BD per capita has come from only 63% in 2010 to now reach 83% of Pakistan per capita at PPP. In nominal terms BD is already ahead. At current difference growth rates in per capita BD will be ahead in less than 4 years.

Pakistan has lost in 71 because of distance, nothing else.
Not only distance, it also did not had enough military power to crush the widespread rebellion. Almost all the military forces were concentrated in West Pakistan. Their heavy discrimination on military build-up in East Pakistan ironically back-fired on them in 1971.
BD has got its independence because of India, nothing else.
Even without India, Bangladesh would have been independent on way or another. May be not in 1971, but some years later. When 75 million people are determined to achieve independence, no force in the world can undo it.

Our people can tolerate bad ruler arising from the native soil to some extent, but bad foreign ruler? It's a big no, no. If you look at our history, no foreign rules lasted here long. Not even the rules from Delhi. In ancient times, this Bengal region was powerful independent kingdom like Gangaridi, Shashanka's Kingdom etc. Even Pan Indian Gupta Empire, Murya empire, Pala empire had their nucleas in current north west Bangladesh. This Bengal region was for the first time came under Delhi's rule during Delhi sultanate period during 13th century. But it did not last long. After 100 years, it broke away from Delhi Sultanate and founded independent Bengal Sultanate which lasted 250 years. Then Mughal managed to conquer Bengal. But it took them 30 years campaign to finally subdue Bengal. Mughal rules lasted just over a century. Mughal named Bengal as Bulghakpur(House of strife). Bengal again became independent Nawabi under Nawab Aliverdi khan in 1717. It is true that, British captured this land first by utilizing internal discords, but this land also the first to initiated the anti-British rebellion and pioneered the Indian independence struggle. So, love of freedom and agitation against foreign rules and exploitation is in our blood. It is hardly surprising that alien, exploitative West Pakistani rule also be resisted by our people. It did not take much long for our people to realize the blunder of creating Pakistan. So our agitation stated as soon as Pakistan's came into being. For the next 24 years, we marched towards our real independence step by step with unbroken chain of agitation.

Our people will tolerate Hasina's autocratic rule as long as Economy is growing rapidly. They have traded Democratic rights in exchange for political stability and economic development. If she run out her economic delivery, people will throw her out just like Ershad. West Pakistani rulers could not hold East Pakistan for two reasons.-

1.They were not local tyrants. We have severe allergy about foreign rulers ruling us from a distant capital as history demonstrated. We are somewhat more open to tolerate our local autocrats. So Hasina rules.

2.They could not deliver economic benefits unlike Hasina.

Hasina is not a bad ruler by any standards.

She is not perfect as she does not allow much dissent but her handling of the economy has been superb. Also her record on the military has been better than of the BNP.

Alot of BD folks listen to Pakistani Music and Watch Our Serials . Their own entertainment industry is mediocre and pretty much non existent.

Bangladeshis don't watch Pakistani TV channels at all except GEO TV occationally. Most cable TVs have self imposed ban on Pakistani channels.

Its true Bangladesh does not have any good entertainment industry. Movies, Music, TV dramas are all mostly mediocre but it used to great till early 90's.

Every industry has a bad phase. Bangladesh will develop in entertainment industry as well but It will take a long time because Indian entertainment totally ruled over Bangladesh.
